https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U_equ_0J0c I use 3A in Dark Ash Brown to cover my grey patch. I think I prefer the gel tubes because it feels like you get more per tube.

This stuff didn't agree with my hair. It covers well but it dried my hair out. I had breakage, and left my hair feeling like hay. I didn't like the color result neither.
