I've only tried a few commercial facial oils (Olay, Palmers, and this one) but this Loreal one is one of my favorites. I found a sample bottle at TJ Maxx for $10. It makes my skin soft, and smooth. No breakouts, and it doesn't irritate my mild rosacea. The scent is okay, a little like roses, but it can be cloying at times. Would repurchase the full sized bottle when this sample size is …Read more

During the winter I suffer from terrible wind burn which I've been combating with aquaphor, petroleum jelly, and more recently facial oils. I bought this product hoping it would be a nice cheaper alternative to the Caudelie (Grapeseed oil) or argan oils that I've been using to help quench my thirsty cheeks. Unfortunately I found that even using straight aloe from an aloe plant causes my …Read more

This facial oil is one of the lightest and most readily absorbed in my arsenal. I have it in a rotation with Tarte Maracuja, Darphin Chamomile Aromatic Care, Fresh Seaberry, and Elishacoy Murumuru Honey oils. The L'Oreal holds its own among these luxury oils but is more affordable. It has a wonderful smell reminiscent of tea and a lovely dry feel that makes it great for layering under …Read more

Hate the fragrance, love the results. I picked this up on a whim - I had run out of my Oil of Olay facial oil, and this was 10 dollars cheaper so I thought I'd give it a try. The scent is overpowering. The citrusy part of it is fine, but there is an herbal undertone that I really don't care for at all. And I did not find that the smell really dissipated - it is on my face, you know - …Read more

I am a skincare fanatic and have tried everything out there from high end luxury brands to mass market drugstore brands. I have an Ivy League degree and also a graduate degree in business, and I do not discriminate on brands because I know that the mass market drugstore brands have large R&D budgets to work with, in fact many times larger than the luxury high end brands. I am of Asian …Read more

I have always had oily/combo skin and shied away from using facial oils until the last few months. This has been a game changer for my skin. My skin is actually producing less oil and these "dry oils" absorb quickly, leaving my skin luminous without feeling or looking greasy. It has a healthy glow which is a nice change from the lacklustre dullness I've been experiencing as I …Read more

Really surprised by this. As someone with sensitive/combo skin that breaks out/reacts easily, I didn't think this would work for me. I've tried oils/facials oils for my face, and have always either broken out or reacted badly with redness with them. I've been using this for about 5-7 weeks, and I haven't had any reaction to this facial oil. It absorbs quickly, and can use it …Read more

Beautiful product, with gorgeous packaging. The dropper made it so easy to use the product, and control the amount. However, this product made me break out in whiteheads. It smells wonderful, although as Paula's Choice noted in their review, fragrance is bad for skin and can dry it out! I use a rigorous skincare routine, and I had relatively clear skin, but I wanted some extra moisturizing …Read more

I'm sorry but I just couldn't deal with the smell from this product. I had read great reviews on line and in magazines and was excited to try it but I could not get past the smell. Reminded me of bug spray or a citronella candle. Wanted so badly for it to work. Tried for a week though despite my olfactory issue. I didn't notice any special "glow" to my skin during that …Read more

I love this stuff, isn't too heavy and moistures (is that a word??) very well. It is full with good oils and no artificial stuff. It is very perfumed, so if you have a problem with perfume in facial care you should let this one pass. I use it at night only, before my moisturizer and my face looks & feels awesome!
