All-trans retinol in a silicone base. I like that the ingredient list is small and that it contains green tea polyphenols. It is a thick consistency but spreads easily onto the skin. Definitely feels like wearing a primer, so some people may not like the silicone slip feel of this on their skin. Unfortunately for me, this caused breakouts on my combination skin.

I actually didn't like this at first because it's loaded with silicones which clogged by pores so I decided to use it under my eyes only.
After a couple of months I noticed the skin under my eyes looked less dry and lined.
I think that for an OTC retinol product this stuff is good and will definitely repurchase.

I loved this product and have moved up to 5. This product does not dry me out and I have noticed that my forehead wrinkles and have seen a reduction in some of my wrinkles. Enough improvement that I will keep repurchasing.

This is one of the first retinol products that have not caused me dry skin.

I have seen it on other sites with higher ratings. This is probaby due to …

Some people just don't tolerate silicone ingredients well, and I guess I'm one of those people. I knew that silicone hair products made me break out, but I really wanted a retinol product for my face. I've heard that there are two modes of delivering retinol into the skin - either with methyl methacrylates (which I'm allergic to) or silicones. So after much research, Replenix …Read more

I am very surprised this has not been reviewed yet. I remember seeing it mentioned in a magazine (probably Allure or InStyle) a couple of months ago, and they said that the dermatologist Leslie Baumann had recommended it as very gentle and well-tolerated by people who can't usually tolerate retinol products, so I thought people would be rushing to try it! Topix products aren't easy to …Read more

i actually used the serum with retinol (2x) in it.
i used it for 1 week and broke out horribly with cystic acne towards the end of the week, mostly around my mouth and cheeks. it was (and still is) one of the worst breakouts of my LIFE.
having heard so many great things about this product, i was utterly disappointed.
i am definitely not allergic to retinol or the green tea …
