Eyeliner -Stila -Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

Works perfect, precise lines and carbon black pigment. Fatal error comes after the top started to wear out about two weeks after use. No Go:(

Eye Shadow -Stila -Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

on 12/5/2017 6:44:00 AM

The new Stila Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow is an absolutely amazing eyeshadow that comes in a variety of beautiful colors. I purchased Freedom, which is a beautiful aqua - teal color. This formula is amazing and it really does a great job lasting all day, even through a long workout at the gym. I tried this with and without a primer and it seems like it stays on without budging either way. I don't think a primer is needed with this formula. This eye shadow can be applied over eyeshadows as well. Definitely a winning product in my opinion. My more detailed review with swatches can be seen here:

Contour -Stila -Shape & Shade Contour Duo

on 11/19/2017 10:09:00 PM

Scored this a few days ago at TJMaxx for $12.99, normal retail price at Sephora or Nordstrom is $40. It's a pretty great product! I'm an nw25ish, I got the shade LIGHT, as the medium looked too muddy and dark for my skin color. The contour is really smooth and creamy, blends wonderfully with the Sculpting Brush by Real Techniques, or a damp Beauty Blender. Both creams blend well and have good lasting power with a good setting spray.. Definitely recommend

Foundations -Stila -Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer

I used this makeup and it dried around my mouth after a few hours. I normally use napoleon genius foundation and find it better for aging skin

Primer/ Corrector -Stila -One Step Correct

on 11/11/2017 6:01:00 AM

First off, this doesn't correct skin tone. And based on its full name - 'One Step Correct Skin Tone Correcting & Brightening Serum' - it really should. It also doesn't particularly brighten the skin (at least not for me). So why then, have I given it a 4/5 rating? Well, for me it's proved to be a perfect base for my makeup application.

I've noticed since using this that my foundation lasts much longer, I don't get as oily - especially in my usual problem areas (forehead, nose and chin) - and unlike other supposed 'correcting' products I've tried in the past, this hasn't broken me out or made my skin react badly. It applies smoothly, absorbs quickly and gives my skin a nice 'tack' to it, which I prefer as a base for applying foundation.

The major downside for me is the price. It's £23 for 30ml which works out to be a pricey step in my makeup regime when I'm using it 3-4 times a week, as it doesn't last that long. Having said that, I would repurchase purely because it's turned out to be such a great base product - the best I've found in a long time - and when your skin's as reactive as mine can be, that's saying a lot! I'll just wait until it's on offer or in the sales...
