Eye Shadow -Stila -Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette-Mind

Price $49.00 for 12 shadows. I got this on sale for 50% off on the Stila website. I would not pay 49.00 but plan to repurchase if they go on sale again

This palette is all mattes. The pigmentation is great and they blend easily and last all day. They can be a little powdery and there isn't a lot of product so if you dig into them with a bad brush you will hit pan FAST. I treat this like I do my ABH shadows, lightly. The pigment is there, no need to scratch around. Packaging is nice. Not as nice as the older style but it still has the nice mirror but the palette is just plain rose gold tone with Stila stamped on the smooth flat top. I like this palette and I use it but I don't love it because the colors in the last row are all so dark. How many liner colors do you need in a palette and don't use really dark colors on my lids. One of my friends has this and she hit pan on all of the dark colors first, so I guess it depends on what you like to use. I like that you can do a warm or cool toned look with this one palette but it is missing a color light enough to use as a brow bone high lighter which I wish it had. I also wish the names were on the front instead of the back. I would repurchase this for some nice affordable mattes if I catch it on sale.

Price is $49.00 but I got mine on sale for 50% and the 2nd one 50% off plus another 25% off. I would not pay full price but if you can catch them on sale, I think they are very nice palettes.

I love this palette and even repurchased it. I love the colors. They blend well, pigment is good and they last all day long. I do use a primer. The shimmers work better applied with a finger or a wet brush. I spray my brush with setting spray and that way they last most of the day. Some of them can be a little powdery so I go in lightly and just tap with a good brush. There is some kickback but not much fallout My one complaint is there isn't a lot of product in each one and I hit pan on some of them really fast. The packaging is nice, and it has a good mirror. The older style palette was prettier than the more recent ones. The new ones just have a flat top in rose gold with Stila stamped on it in gold. Definitely a downgrade for the prettier earlier packaging.

I wish they had the colors on the front instead of the back. I was really happy to see kitten, oasis and puppy all together in one palette. The mattes are really nice and I can do several looks with this palette. Pigalle is really pretty too. I also have the Mind which is all mattes and Soul which is cooler tones. I hit pan on almost all of Mind but I really don't use Soul that much. It has too many colors in it that just don't work for me and I wish it had more lighter mattes and that the colors weren't so similar.

BB Cream -Stila -Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm SPF 30

This product is very nice and a bit oily so it doesn't get flaky on my dry skin. It's not a foundation of course and it doesn't have a lot of coverage, but it does give your skin a very nice glow and evens out the skin tone a bit. I use this daily with a concealer to cover my imperfections and I think that it works great for a no make-up look! And if on some days the coverage isn't enough for me I use it as a primer for foundation.

Eye Shadow -Stila -Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow with Primer

I purchased the colour Kitten, mild blush toned neutral with high sheen silver foil specks. An array of spectacular colours with foil glitter. The container for its time was very pretty- screw lid (with plastic cut out for colour view) and product container had a mirror chrome finish. It came with what I thought were useless pieces, a tiny bottle with an eye dropper which housed the primer a small metal dish for mixing. The primer was poor quality, amount was not enough to use for the amount of eyeshadow shadow. Eventually through the years the primer dried up in the bottle and tossed in the trash...I don’t even know where the metal dish is to this day lol. The shadow is very pretty when applied to the eyelid, casts a lovely sheen. If I mix Mac Fix+ with eyeshadow, I get a real WOW factor which is a nice option.
The issue I have is the application is tricky. It applies in chunks no matter what I use: a brush, fingertips, I’ve even purchased a sponge tip applicator brush specifically for this product and still no real success. Using my fingertip was my best choice out of the three option. There is fallout during application, but I can control the placement and intensity. I have used glitter glue to help keep product set in place. Now that Stila came out with the Magnificent Metals liquid eyeshadow ie: Glitter and Glow or Shimmer and Glow, I find they do a better job in application with minimal fallout.

Very pretty all over the lid color for nw20 light pink undertone skin. It almost looks wet. Its not gold or pink it truly is neutral on me. Ive had nylon by mac which i hated it was way too yellow and stark. Naked lunch was better but too frosty just like nylon. With stila kitten its shimmery but in a subtle way unless you really pack it on. It wins in the shimmer highlight department on my asian almond eyes (hard to find shimmer to compliment eye shape without making eyes look swollen). its the marilyn monroe type of light shimmer eye with some black liner and your set.
