Finding a good silicone and fragrance-free moisturizer nowadays, despite the thousands of brands out there, is not an easy task! I first got this DE offering in a sample size and as I loved the moisturizing effects I went out and purchased the full size product. This is one of those moisturizers that ticks a lot of boxes for me...I love the ingredients in here, the innovative packaging that you …Read more

My first thought when I finished my sample size was, "Oh no . . ." Because it's super freaking expensive but I really liked it! I have combination skin and it's a wonderful, light night cream that's perfect for when I'm oily in the summer. I love the gel-cream texture -- it absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel soft and smooth, though I used it for two solid months …Read more

I have been using this moisturiser ever since it came out, and I have some experiences. Originally, back when my skin was oily and tolerable of lighter products, I found this to be the best moisturiser I had used. I found it extremely difficult to find a moisturiser which didn't break me out, and this didn't fail to impress. It had a light-texture, which was fragrance-free, with great …Read more

I had tried samples of the Protini on my hand from the store tester and thought it seemed very moisturizing but was turned off by the high price. For this reason, I was very excited to receive a deluxe sample of this plus their jelly face wash as a birthday gift from Sephora. The sample I received is enough for me to use for several days, but I have decided after 2 days that it is probably …Read more

Initially I liked this, then found it drying. I used it up anyway, waiting for the miracle results that others claimed, and realized it wasn't going to happen. On my birthday Sephora gave me a bunch of tiny Drunk Elephant samples so I used Protini again and this time I liked it. It seemed much more moisturizing. I doubt I'll buy it anytime again soon. The best I can say is it's not …Read more

This is a decent moisturizer that is good for people with normal or combination skin. It has a gel like consistency and feels soothing on. People with more dry skin, like me, will find that they need a little more moisturizer. I didn't find anything absolutely ground-breaking about this product. There are just as good or far better moisturizers out there for a quarter of the price.

I love DE's treatments (Babyfacial, Vitamin C serum, Framboos night serum) but find their moisturizers to be overpriced and lacking. Protini is nice but I wouldn't consider it a must-have. It has a light, gel-like texture so it's more suited for Spring/Summer while Lala Retro is thicker and better for Fall/Winter. I also think Protini would be good for oilier skins. I have …Read more

I got this as the sample Sephora birthday gift! I actually really enjoyed this cream and thought my skin was really well hydrated! However I would never buy a moisturizer this expensive when I have such dry skin and need to use a lot!

This is the best Sephora gift ever. I have put off getting into DE bc they are expensive. I was looking forward to trying these, but I also have the most sensitive skin of life so I was hesitant as well.

This is a protein packed moisturizer but it also has glycolic and lactic acid which are chemical exfoliants. The package says to use twice a day. My skin would be wrecked. I do NOT do …

I'm 36 with generally problem-free skin, deepening wrinkles under the eyes and dry/dehydrated skin. I got this as part of a birthday freebie from Sephora along with the DE cleanser.

I've been using for about a week and a half and so far it's helped restore my skin barrier which I damaged by using retinol and acids too closely together. Feels 'wet' when applied …
