Gentle Cleansing Foam

Background: hypersensitive dehydrated skin prone to pimples/whiteheads After reading the awesome reviews on Reddit, was keen to go back to Sulwhasoo. Recalled using their balancing range emulsion in colder & dry climate. Recalled being ok with it. But nothing life changing - it could have contributed to my sensitivity (slightly) as my skin tends to turn slightly red after their range. I don't think this cleanses as well or as gently as Eve lom's cleansing balm. It leaves my skin tingly and red after cleansing. I was hoping my skin could get used to this cleanser but after 3 days of continuous use, I think I'm quite ready to give it up due to the discomfort it brings. Was hoping to find an easier and cheaper alternative to Eve Lom's regime. But I think I'll be sticking with my Eve Lom's cleansing balm for now.

Snowise Brightening Cleansing Foam

I don't know if 'brightening' best describes this. Lightening would be more fitting and it does a pretty good job of it too! I used the previous version of this (EX) which was great at keeping my skin clean but not dried out due to its unique PH. This one is similar but definitely stronger in the lightening department than its predecessor. Not too sure whether I'm liking the effect, I prefer a luminous glow over a melanin-less complexion any day. The deal breaker here though is the texture...it leaves an oily film of product on my skin which is kinda gross. Looks like a mixture of chalk and oil. The first time I used it this didn't bother me much as I used a cotton pad and toner to remove it, but I don't always have the time to do that. I appreciate it doesn't dry my skin out and keeps it moist but by the time I've tried to remove it with cotton (which isn't the easiest of tasks) my face has lost whatever hydrating benefit there was. Verdict; good at what it does but not a repeat purchase for me. Selena x ~ My HG list ~ (As I've sampled 100s of skin, hair and m/u products over the last decade and a half, I thought it might be useful to share my top 10 must-have products, subject to change if and when I come across something more effective. I love constantly trying out new stuff - usually sample sizes via e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora) 1. Hair Loss Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Hair Oil 2. Lip Balm: 'Nuxe' - Reve De Miel Lip Balm 3. Pigmentation + Anti-Ageing Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Facial Treatment Serum 4. Cleanser: 'Paula's Choice' - Skin Balancing Cleanser 5. Concealer: ‘Mac’ - Studio Finish Concealer 6. Athletes Foot Treatment: 'Margaret Dabbs' - Foot Hygiene Cream 7. Foundation/SPF: ‘Juice Beauty’ - Stem Cellular Repair (warm glow) 8. Foot File/Callus/Heel Treatment - 'Microplane' - Colossal Pedicure Rasp Foot File 9. Ingrown Hair Treatment - 'Priva Shave' - Post Hair Removal Treatment 10. Hand Cream: 'Origins' - Make A Difference Rejuvenating Hand Treatment

I have combination skin and I get acne during my period. I used the Estée Lauder night repair for many years and I wanted to try something new. So I did some research and came across this product that everyone seems to love. I purchased the 60ml bottle and within the first couple of days I can already see the results. My skin left more healthy, skin look more clear, redness reduced and it helped to smoothen out my skin rough texture. I used 2 pumps and it lasted me about 2 months. When it ran out, I purchased the first care in 120ml bottle. Also for some reason when I used this product with the Sulwhasoo perfecting cushion, the cushion foundation seem to looked flawless and lasted longer. Lastly, the cons for me is the price and that it did not helped with the pore. Buying 60ml every 2 months can be alot of money. But I love the way my skin look so I highly suggest to get the biggest bottle available (120ml is limited edition their regular largest is actually 90ml)
