Shampoo -Suave -Biotin Infusion Strengthening Shampoo

on 11/19/2017 2:51:00 PM

Any of the gold suave shampoo or conditioners are a thumbs up from me. It is still surprising since suave has always been a line I avoided. The old stuff is still garbage but all of their gold bottles are right up there with higher end brands. I would chose suave over garnier, herbal essence, tressemme....etc.

This specific one...the biotin infusion.....iis my least favorite but I would still chose this other the other drugstore stuff. My hair is very thin and fine and this didn't really strengthen it and it felt super soft by looked greasier quicker. I will stick with the other shampoos but I would still pick this up before all the other drugstore stuff....

Conditioner -Suave -Daily Clarifying Conditioner

I use this conditioner along with the matching shampoo. It's the perfect combination to clean and condition hair without any buildup. I have slightly wavy, short, medium textured hair that I need to shampoo regularly. This conditioner allows me to easily comb through my hair without making it look heavy or stringy. If you want a simple conditioner for normal hair, you should check this one out.. It's also very affordable. I bought huge family sized bottles of the shampoo and conditioner for less than $3.00 dollars a bottle. This works just as well as more expensive conditioners if not better. Highly recommend!

Lotions/ Creams -Suave -Almond and Shea Butter Lotion

on 11/1/2017 3:55:00 PM

I recently had double mastectomy and got itching skin with rashes after surgery. Though this lotion did not relief my rashes (which steroids took care of), this lotion healed left over dry patches. I have sensitive skin and used to have Lubriderm lotion but this Suave is a lot less cheaper and equally good. I also like the scent, not too strong but similar to Bath & Body Works lotions I used to use. I even apply this lotion to my incisions and my face with healing affect; not greasy at all. I paid ~$4 for 32oz pumped bottle at Walmart. It stay moisturized for almost 20 hours, not 24 hours as advertised but again, I have dry skin on my body.

Smells very coconuty. Lathers fine and rinses easily. It does dry out my skin though. So I have to lotion after using. Very affordable.

Conditioner -Suave -Bamboo + Aloe Vera Full and Strong

I'm a big fan of Suave's natural line (i.e their almond & shea butter conditioner). These products have a lot of plant based ingredients at a dirt cheap price point. I have tried all of them for comparison purposes. So when this hit the market, naturally I wanted to try it.

Unfortunately this is now my least favorite of the entire line. I knew immediately looking at the ingredient list that this wasn't going to be like the rest. Suave made a mistake with this one. The plant based ingredients are absolutely minimal. I'll paste an ingredient list below. I find the formula to be way too light to properly hydrate my hair (even after cowashing or as a cowash!). I think if you have fine, oily, healthy hair this could be right up your alley. But it's just too light for my needs.

Water (Aqua), Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Fragrance (Parfum), Behentrimonium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Dipropylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Amodimethicone, Disodium Edta, Peg-7 Propylheptyl Ether, Cetrimonium Chloride, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract.
