Lips -Jane Iredale -Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain

I only have the sample size, but the product is amazing. The color forever peach is gorgeous on my lips. The product is comfortable and smells pleasant. I would recommend if you enjoy balm-like texture in your lippies.

BB Cream -Jane Iredale -Glow Time BB Cream

on 5/24/2018 8:42:00 AM

I bought this product, probably over a year ago, because I had run out of BB (or CC) cream and was in a fairly rural place where it was the only "luxury" brand I could easily find and buy. I even tried it on and compared it to another Jane Iredale product. It says that it's "full" coverage *(which I didn't know because I didn't read the package before I bought it) but I'd call it heavy industrial and it's very hard to put on and blend. And that's not all: on me, somehow the shade I picked makes me look overly yellow. If you're contemplating appearing as a Kabuki, maybe... All in all, a terrible purchase, and what's more, I really can't blame anyone but myself. Cheap as I am, am contemplating throwing it out because I shouldn't ever be tempted to put it on again.

Mascara -Jane Iredale -Longest Lash Mascara

I have short, blonde eyelashes... if this worked at all, I’m pretty sure I would notice. I had to do about four coats to get any colour to adhere to my lashes and even then it was patchy at best. There was no added length and they were certainly not more voluminous... useless. Oh - except where it stuck to my skin, where it was dark and almost impossible to remove of course,..

Powder -Jane Iredale -Pure Pressed Base

on 5/17/2018 8:32:00 PM

I love powder foundations more than any other type. The good ones are truly invisible and this is the only type of foundation that gives me a natural looking great skin.
My skin is sensitive, normal to dry, dehydrated.
I hate this powder! No other powder foundation has ever performed on my skin like this one or looked as bad on photos.
In one hour it settled into every line I've got. In two hours it has found its way into pores and the lines I have no idea I had on my face. Bare in mind I do not have any visible pores, but this foundation found something to settle into.
I never knew I had some tiny hair on my face, thanks to Jane Iredale now I'm aware that my face is covered in ultrathin 1/16 inch hair.
Four hours later all the foundation was pretty much gone.
I believe oily skin types can benefit from using this powder, but anyone with skin similar to mine should stay away.

P.S. I've tried using two tones on my NC25 skin - Satin (turned out too ashy), Golden Glow (too warm, still a bit ashy). Jane Iredale has a great shade range, but I personally can find a better match within 6 shades of La Prairie.

Liquid -Jane Iredale -Liquid Minerals

I'm on my second bottle of Liquid Minerals. I was uncertain about this initially but there was a bit of a learning curve. I use two pumps of this mixed with a dot of Peter Thomas Roth 24K gold and get so many compliments on my skin. I do have melasma and need to apply two coats over concealer in those areas. I finish with a spray of JI Pommist. Love how this worked for me of the winter - hoping it's not too dewy for the summer.
