These and the thick elastics are interchangeable for me, except that the thin ones stretch out a little easier. I have them scattered everywhere in my home. I have and will continue to repurchase.

These are great, a good brand, don't hurt becuase there's no metal clasp... and it's a good price for an abundant of them my only problem is they're too thin for my thick curly/ wavy hair so...
