I have 3 DOC 5-pan eyeshadow palettes and I love them all. The formula is powdery, but very smooth and soft. Blends beautifully and is pigmented to the maximum. You can use each shade all over the lid without it getting patchy which I rarely find to be the case with very powdery shadows as they mostly don’t stick well enough on the skin as an all over lid colour. However, this is the only palette that has one dud in it. The second to last shade unfortunately has a different kind of formula and seals very quickly. It's almost as if it has some sort of pearl or so in it that's not visible but helps (or should help) the shadow to perform better. It's definitely not the same formula as the rest of the palette and the other 2 palettes I have from DOC. Workable and compared to other shadows I own definitely one of the better ones, but not quite on the same level as other DOC shadows. That's why I'm giving this palette only 4 stars. I probably would give it 5 stars if it was a 10 pan palette with only one so-so colour but if you sell 5 shadows for 35USD (through BeautyBay)...I expect every colour to be superb. I can however still recommend it as well as the Baked Browns one and the Blushing Barried one.

I have waited YEARS for the perfect neutral toned, matte/satiny, mauvy palette, and THIS is it! I give very few 5 lippie ratings, but this is beyond deserving... Great pigmentation, amazing texture, flattering colors, great wear time, slim packaging, reasonably priced etc etc... I love this palette so much that I already bought a back up... This is everything I had hoped that Urban Decay Backtalk would be, but just wasn't. UD Backtalk was a little too warm toned for me, and I returned it, but it's a very pretty palette if mostly warm tones flatter you.. I'm Spanish/Italian/N22/25 ish, but very neutral toned, and surprisingly look better in blue based reds, and more neutral tones, even though I tan well... This is my first product by Dose of Colors, but am now going to purchase a few liquid lippies since I really like the brand.. The other two 5 pan palettes by them are gorgeous, but just don't flatter me... Definitely recommend.

I finally got my hands on of these Dose of Colors palettes. The Marvelous Mauves took my breath away from the very beginning. When it finally arrived the colors looked way more pink in the pan than I had anticipated. I tried them on with a primer and the quality is ridiculously amazing. They went on with so much pigmentation and the colors stayed on untouched all day. I was so surprised how nice these were. The bummer part for me is that I am nw20, deep winter, brown eyes and dark under eye circles. I usually try to take this shade of pink out of my eye area because I look sickly when my skin tone gets too pink. And the Marvelous Mauves shades were giving me that sick look. Now I have a friend who if we weren't hundreds of miles away I would have ate the cost and ran this to her house. She had very dark brown hair like me, but green eyes and her complexion is a bit more of a summer. She looks gorgeous in mauves and this palette would have been hers in a heartbeat. It would have looked gorgeous on her. But even though the colors did not work for me, the rating completely deserves 5 lippies. I wish Ulta would carry these in stores so I could see the other palettes in person. I don't want to keep ordering off of the internet to be surprised. But the quality was sooo good, I think I will have to try another palette next time a 20% comes my way. Sorry not to have detailed shade descriptions. Those are out the on the internet and I did not spend enough time with it to study each shade as the final look was so not working on me. But there is the very lightest of pink shades and three more mauve pink shades that go progressively darker. All shades were brilliant and easy to work with.

Love this Palette!! I was not needing or wanting any more eyeshadows. Actually, had been using cream eyeshadow almost exclusively for the last year. But Ulta got me with the 20% off promotion. This palette is perfect. You can do a lot of looks from casual to smoky, the colors are true, do not get muddy when blended and wear very well over a primer (haven’t tried without)
Love this with my green eyes and light cool skin. A touch of kick up if you are aggressive at all with brush but not worth more than a mention.
I never wear browns and am now eyeballing their brown palette as well.
OH!! The brush is excellent! I’ve never been so happy with a brush that came with a palette, and I have many.

These are lovely shadows that are so smooth, buttery, and pigmented. I'm very cool toned, green eyes, blonde hair NW20 for reference. These shadows work so well with my complextion and make my green eyes greener and they really stand out. The shadows themselves are fantastic they are so pigmented I barely have to touch my brush to the product or it will come out too dark and I would have to blend it out so I learned a light hand is all that's needed. These blend in the crease so easily and look really nice on. I use wet n wild primer with this and it holds these shadows all day.Because they are so pigmented they last on my lids all day. They also do not crease on me which is something my oily lids tend to do but not with these shadows. I love that the are cool toned shadows as I love mauve shades and to me these are just so pretty. They are also easy to depot so if you notice that they are a little loose that is why. I read they did that to make it easier to do if you want that. I'm a palette collector and I do not have any shadows in my collection that are like these shades. I love how there is no black in this just a deep wine shade. As a pale person black can look so stark on me so I appreciate the shades in this palette. I would buy this again in a heartbeat it's a great palette and I didn't think the price was too bad considering how big the pans are. I also like to mix this with some shimmers too so these eyeshadows will be getting a lot of use. Recommended.

I own WAY too many eye shadow palettes to admit to and this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I'm a huge fan & collector of Mauve eye shadow and this one is stunning! I just ordered a backup in their 25% off sale on their site. I adore every single shade and the packaging is sturdy & pretty. This palette has everything you need for a complete eye look and in an all matte (but not flat or chalky) format. You have an all over base shade, a lid shade, a transition shade, a crease shade, a highlight/inner tear duct shade and a outer V shade all in one compact palette. I don't have to reach for any other palette to complete my look. If you have green eyes, this is the palette for you. The shadows are creamy & blend like a dream. They are super pigmented & last all day. So excited Ulta will be carrying this line soon. I would love to see a matte lavender and a muted grey palette by Dose of Color in this same format. Outstanding product. Couldn't be more happy with this purchase. You can make a romantic, subtle look or a mold bold look with these.

Quint of matte cool toned mauve eyeshadows for $32.00,each pan is 1.7 grams each, making them $6.40 each. The packaging is a sturdy slim mauve chrome/metallic plastic rectangle, has a good mirror, on the back it has a picture of the eyeshadows, and name. Includes a double sided brush- one side is a pencil, other side is standard eyeshadow brush. The brush is okay- nothing special. Cruelty, talc, and paraben free but not vegan due to carmine. These are really good matte eyeshadows- well pigmented, easy to blend, and doesn't get muddy. I love the color selection and they all go well with each other. They last all day with primer. The biggest issue I have with these is the amount of kickback and potential fall out. When I dip my brush in the pan it gets really dusty. The strange thing is when you do finger swatches it feels really creamy and buttery. After I tap off the extra shadow on the brush it applies with no issues. I do pat on the eyeshadow first and then blend. When I don't pat it on, I get fall out. I can deal with the dusty eyeshadow if it ends out performing well. What I hate is dusty eyeshadow that has no pigmentation and dry. Overall, I do like this palette and will get the brown version. *copied via Dose of Colors website*INGREDIENTS:Mica, Hydrogenated Lecithin, PTFE, Synthetic Wax, Boron Nitride, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone, Synthetic Wax, Kaolin, Silica, Isoeicosane, Polyethylene, Sodium Dehydroacetate - MAY CONTAIN: Carmine (CI 75470), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ultramarines 9 (CI 77007), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140)Shades-Fluffy- pale white based pinkRosy- light mauve pinkWishy Washy- mid tone dusty mauveSpaced Out- medium berry mauveWine Stain- dark brown based berry
