I'm on the fence with this. On one hand - I do feel like it protects against the heat. On the other hand, I don't like that it adds extra hold. I have naturally straight hair, but I straighten it to smooth it out. I find that a lot of times with this it kind of makes my fair feel "ew". I have to get the perfect amount in my hair or it's gross. When I do get the right amount, it works wonderfully. When I over-do it? Not so much. I guess this is the case with most products however, gauging when I have too much is difficult because it's not a cream where I can see how much I'm applying if that makes sense? I'll keep using it and see if I can make it work.

Wella thermal image is a heat protectant spray for heat styling your hair. Have been using this for a few weeks now, its a really good product and does what it claims to do. It has half oil based and half liquid based product which we shake and spray section wise before styling. This product gives little to medium hold as well. Smells good and the product is inexpensive and last quite a long time. Im absolutely impressed by it and would certainly recommend it to others. Will surely repurchase it again.

Probably one of the better heat protection sprays I've used. Previous products always seem to be sticky, or on the heavy oily side which I don't like. This however is quite light and doesn't leave any kind of noticeable residue.I usually apply it on damp hair prior to blow-drying and I believe it did prevent damage (like split ends) from heat styling.

The directions say to put this on dry hair (I believe it is intended for protecting hair when you are curling or straightening your hair), however I did not notice that when I purchased it. I tried using it on towel-dried hair, before blowdrying. and it really works! It gives a great texture to thin my thin hair, but is a staple in my morning routine. I hardly straighten my hair with a flat iron, but when I do and use this, it protects (you can hear the product sizzling) well and keeps me hair really straight. This product is a miracle! I do have to use a fair amount every day so the bottle probably won't last too long, but it works so well that I don't mind. Plus, the price is just right (around $14)- cheaper than other products I was considering. I have used similar heat protection products and they either didn't work, or left my hair extremely sticky. The smell is fairly neutral, and it sprays out well (doesn't seem to get clogged and applies evenly).
