I have very dry hair, and lots of it. I have used hundreds of brands, Keratase being my No 1 choice. My hairdresser recommeded Moisture Velvet about 18 months ago. I subsequently bought the conditioner. My hair and scalp love this shampoo. You know how your skin feels and looks when you put some soothing moisturisers on your face, it hydrates and glows, well I feel this is how my hair/scalp reacts. I wash my hair once, pile up my hair off my face and then leave it on while I shower. Rinse off and that's it. I use the conditioner infrequently, too be honest I would skip it, and instead buy a good masque and use it once or twice a month. One positive effect is that I only need to wash my hair about every 5/6 days, whatever is in this deep cleans but gently. As you can tell I am a huge fan. Buy the shampoo, skip the conditioner.

On the fence about this one. Beautiful fragrance and works great on my hair the first day or two, then my hair tends to become lifeless, dull and without body. For reference I have short, natural silver white hair that I've stopped coloring. This shampoo is too expensive, but may be right for those with very dry and color-treated hair.

Elegant packaging in an amber plastic bottle. Smells divine! The companion conditioner is worthless.

This is the first product I have ever felt the urge to write a review on - it's that good. I also am reviewing from a sample, but my hair is short and it lasted 3 washes. My hair can often be fuzzy and dry, but this shampoo made my hair feel so yummy. I didn't even need to use the conditioner. It lathered very well & smells nice (not over-powering). I made the mistake of telling my husband the cost, now I am going to have to sneak it in the house. But I am pretty sure I can't live without it.

I am on my second bottle and love it. The scent is light and nothing too impressive; however, it keeps my hair moisturized. I have damaged hair, and I use it with the conditioner and hair mask thingy.

Amazing product. Works wonders for my temperamental, dry, damaged (colour treated and often heat styled) hair. It is pricey, but works really well. I've had my fair share of searching hi and lo for a product that works for my hair ( from drugstore brands, salon and some pricier ones as well ). Looking forward to trying the mask next.
