I have always loved this mousse to make my fine, straight, color-treated hair shiny with volume. Unfortunately, the repackaged version of this mousse is not the same. I know that because I had an older bottle and compared the ingredients to the new version (with the small red square on the front). The new version has SODIUM CHLORIDE (salt), as one of the ingredients! Bad move, Paul Mitchell. This new version left my hair dry, frizzy and full of static. I will use up my older bottles of this, but will not repurchase in the future.

Extra Body Sculpting Foam

I rarely fall in love with hair products, but this stuff is absolutely amazing. Even my husband loves it! My hair is extremely fine and there's not much of it. So any amount of oomph is appreciated, and this stuff gives it in droves. I dispense a small amount in my hand and spread it through towel-dried hair, and then add in two sprays of the Aveda Texture Tonic. I then blowdry my hair upside down while brushing with the Tangle Teezer Fine & Fragile brush (which I also love). The result is a lot of va-va-voom that actually lasts all day! Even without the Aveda TT, it still stays all nice and big, but not stiff or sticky in any way. Packaging is nice. Pretty standard and does what I need it to. I paid $12 for the medium-sized bottle at Ulta, and they always have sales on PM stuff, so I snagged a second bottle for half off. Really glad I did. I'd say this is mid-range when it comes to price. More than drugstore, but not enough that it makes me want to cry like the Living Proof stuff does. I'll definitely continue to purchase this wonderful mousse!

Express Style Fast Form Cream Gel

Am a Paul Mitchell student and we use this in our salon all of the time. I love the slip and manageability this gives while being lightweight. Since I have frizzy hair I cocktail this with the ion Multi-benefit styling cream from Sally's Beauty Supply since that is truly good for smoothing out the hair as it's a thicker cream. Both give me a shiny, sleek blow out that lasts until my next wash. I may have super pin straight hair but my hair is rather thick and very color treated so this method works for me.
