Evedentally, I love Paul Mitchell's shampoo and conditioners, but their styling products imo (based on my hair) are a waste of money.A few of the bad reviews say it's like scented water...that was exactly how I felt. It felt like I could have just put water in an empty spray bottle, added a little conditioner, and add an essential oil and you would have this product. It did nothing for my hair or skin that water couldn't do.

Mixed on this. I sprayed this on my hair when it was damp. I needed a ton of it sprayed to my hair (thin hair a few inches past my shoulders). It didn't detangle it whatsoever while my hair was damp....if anything it seemed to just add more knots. Oddly enough when my hair had dried though, my hair was easy to fingercomb. As of right now wouldn't buy again.

This is my go to for clarifying my hair. To begin, I want to mention that I have Asian hair that is generally straight, medium in coarseness that is highly resistant to curling and fine, but lots of it. I have used the Biolage clarifying and also Redken’s cleansing cream. Redken’s is wonderful if you use a lot of product because it really does a great job clarifying. I minimally use hair styling products because my hair doesn’t like anything but to be straight, so Redken was effective BUT dried out my hair to a point of greasiness. When I use the Awapuhi, it gives it that delicate balance of a clarified clean feel but just enough moisture to my scalp that it does not make it greasy. When I air dry my hair, it feels silky, not weighed down, and is full of bounce. I switch back and forth between this and the Paul Mitchell Tea tree special because I hate the feeling of oiliness in my hair but still get that clean feel. The combination with the Paul Mitchell shampoos and Sebastian Penetraitt conditioner have been the best combination for me. When I get my hair trimmed, my stylist always compliments me on the health of my hair and I don’t get a lot of split ends. For reference, I have tried brands from Biolage, AG, Joico, Alterna, Pureology, Matrix, Redken, TiGi S factor, and most of the drugstore shampoo brands. I may stray at times but will always come back to this combination, which I have used for more than 5 years!

I usually do not purchase the same shampoo twice, since I rarely find one that I think makes my hair look great, but with this one I did. My hair is fine and thinning, so I need a shampoo that won't over moisturize my hair as to weigh it down, and this shampoo does not do that. Instead it makes my hair feel light and it is easier to blow dry and heat style after. I usually don't think that volumizing or thickening shampoos add volume, but this one definitely gives my hair a fuller look. My hair looks healthy after using this and it smells really good as well.

My stylist used this product on me before blowout. WoW! My hair held the blowout for 6 days/nights! No, I've never let my hair be unwashed for this long before! With Neuro "LIFT" my hair looked and felt so good I wasn't eager to wash it out! There are several products in this line from Paul Mitchell. Each is packaged in a pretty, royal blue colored container. Lift is 200 ml or 6.7 oz. It's very easy to mistakenly purchase "FINISH" or another product that isn't LIFT but, looks the same. I've not tried the others. What I love about LIFT is that it's a mousse that provides a beautiful thickness to my hair, heat protectant and doesn't get sticky, tacky, flaky, flat or cause oily scalp. My hair looked great when I woke up each day! This is why it's applied to all of your hair. There are videos on YouTube from Mitch educators. I found them very helpful for LIFT. You do use more product than other mousses. I like to start at the bottom of my hair and work up to scalp. If you don't want the application video from an educator, go with the lesson "less is more". Apply, comb through with a Wet Brush or wide toothed comb on damp hair. Blow-dry. Smells so nice!Unlike the instructions suggest, I don't put it directly on my scalp but do use my fingers to get very close. I have long hair past the middle of my back. About 3 golf ball sizes of mousse work best for me. Top, middle, ends. My hair is also color treated. Neuro Lift did not dry my hair out. I use it on days I want my hair to look its very best. It can be used as often as desired.
