This stuff, in short, is just AMAZING. I cannot rave on about it enough, even if it makes me sound like a lunatic. I bought this a few weeks ago and have been using it twice a day every day, and it is just the stuff of legends. I was lucky enough to get this at a fraction of its normal price from TK Maxx (I shop there a lot I'm sorry!), and it is normally £33.30 for 100ml, or £29.85 for the 30ml. I got the 30ml for just £9.99 so was pretty happy about that. I've never heard of or tried anything by Saaf Skincare before, but I was impressed by the fact it is 97.5% organic, not tested on animals and I'm always looking for new ways to freshen up my skin routine, and this serum seemed like a good way to do it. Thank goodness I did because it is a skin saver! Personally, I'd say it was more of an oil than a serum, just because its consistency definitely reminds me of a oil more than a serum. I followed the directions on the box and just applied a few drops, which is really all you need to cover your entire face, letting it settle in over night. It completely eradicated any redness that I tend to get around my nose, made my complexion smoother, more supple, made any imperfections seem as though they weren't there and just generally gave my skin a fresh glow about it. It is super concentrated and hydrating, which is great if your skin is dry, dull and looking for a little bit of a pick me up. When I used it under my make up, I let it sit on my skin for about 2 hours before putting my make up on, purely because I think my foundation would just slide straight off my face because it is a very greasy/oily product. Even after 2 hours it isn't completely settledin, but it is a good enough base to put your moisturiser and foundation over. It makes my foundation look dewy and fresh, like I'm not wearing any really. Even the most full coverage, matte foundation looks slightly dewy! I love it. I think if I had to find anything negative about it I would say that I hate the smell, a lot. The frangrance is supposed to be Rosehip seed & Pomegrante seed oil and it just smells like an old lady kind of perfume. But I can definitely get past the smell because the product itself is a true miracle worker.
The product itself is intended for normal to dry skin, also skin that is prematurely aged, sun damaged or if you suffer with rosacea. I wouldn't recommend this for people who don't like greasy feeling products, because this is very oily but very hydrating. I also wouldn't recommend this for oily/combination skin purely because it is very oily and you wouldn't want to make oily skin look even more oily!
Overall, a truly fantastic product, I would even pay full price for it.

edit= stopped using it for months and my skin had been through a phase of acne. with all the scars/damage and dryness that resulted, i got this again recently. it's already smoothed out and brightened my skin significantly.
Edit2: repurchased again.. HG for life. I can use the cheapest moisturizer on top n it's perfection. My skin looks AWESOME. edit (at risk of sounding fanatic): The effect is definitely cumulative as well as immediate-- Have been using for a while now and my skin seems *stronger* (less prone to irritation, bouncier) and brighter! Acne scars on forehead also nearly faded! TOP MARKS!! Also seems to have fixed the damage that a brief stint with Hydraluron did to my pores. An added bonus is that, since it's such a saturated dose of pure, effective ingredients, I can even dilute this with whatever moisturizer (whether it's cheap or expensive) i have on hand, and apply, and still get results. It makes the moisturizer richer, and helps the serum last longer. LOVE THIS STUFF + GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. The nicest thing about the SAAF line is that aside from the great blend of oils, this is just TEEMING & BRIMMING with antioxidants! And they will mop up damage from sun exposure/irritation, and all that, thus preventing aging, in the long-term! This has replaced my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, which wasn't that wonderful to begin with.
Right from the start this has been effective and wonderful. Makes my skin so supple, soft and smooth. Absorbs completely, makes my pores refined/smaller looking- I don't think I'm imagining it. A lifesaver this winter esp with the heating on all the time indoors. I apply on damp face and my skin is perfectly moisturized but not greasy all day. I find myself touching my face randomly because it feels so soft and nice. I would recommend to anyone. I consider this more of a serum and find it extremely moisturizing which normalizes my dry skin. I don't feel the need to add a moisturizer on top of this but you might. Side note, if you are pregnant or at all sensitive to smells, preferring no scent in your products, you may not like the Saaf skincare line. The scent may be natural, and subtle, but it's present and doesn't dissipate completely.
I find this vastly different to plain rosehip oil- more moisturizing and skin is brightened over just a few days, and feels fresher. Rosehip oil is okay but often leaves my skin feeling irritated and 'hot'- also believe it or not I found it quite drying over time (many months' usage- but it only took a couple of days for my skin to feel dry). This is much better for me. I really believe the blend of oils is perfection.

I love love love this brand, but this product is not for me particularly. I bought the travel set with samples of (I think) every product.

This oil has an interesting 'dry' sort of texture when it is applied, which I am not sure I like, as to me it doesn't seem as if it is melding into the skin as it should. I was using this as a night moisturiser and it was effective as that although my skin is pretty all over the place at the moment and it didn't help, although I don't think it was part of the problem at all. Just before this I used Spiezia (also a good brand in terms of sound ingredients) Rose and Vanilla face oil, which I preferred as it seemed more moisturising (and smelt yummy). I have started to feel like a creamy (rather than oily) night moisturiser for some reason so I am moving back to A'kin products, and will just use my trusty Trilogy Rosehip Oil when I need extra oily moisture around my eyes, nose and lips. I would recommend this to people to try, although maybe not over plain rosehip oil.
