I love love love this product, I purchased this on whim in a mineral makeup set at Walmart. The loose powder comes in really weird packaging.. I do not use the brush included because it seem impractical. I just tap some powder in the cap and use my own powder brush. I have really oily skin and I believe that this is the best drugstore setting powder I have used. It definitely keeps my face matte after application of all my makeup for about 4-5 hours before blotting!!! I will definitely repurchase. I wish this came in a container rather than the weird brush applicator packaging...
I just bought this last week as part of a kit. (15 bucks at walmart) I have to say I LOVE IT. Love! It makes my skin look so smooth and flawless. I have blotchy skin with redness and some acne scars and with this powder you can't see any of it. I notce people who know me looking at my face like something is different. I'm pretty sure ill never be without it. I think this would be the only thing I would take out with me for touch ups. Its perfect. Keep making it ill keep buying it!
My skin gets oily pretty fast on my t-zone and this helps A LOT. I use MAC Studio Fix powder foundation on top of Hard Candy Sheer Envy primer and I find it's not oil controlling enough...so I was using loose powder on top. It did ok, but I still had to blot my face every hour pretty much. I noticed a difference the first time I used this...First it gives a nice finish to your skin..matte but not too dry looking, kind of a satin finish (hard to explain) ....just better looking than a reg loose powder. I put this on top of my makeup and went out shopping for about an hour and a half...I looked in the mirror when I got home I WASN'T SHINY!!!!..nice satiny smooth finish...still. As far as the packaging it's a nice idea, it makes it so you can bring it in your bag for easy touch ups...BUT...I initially apply it with my own powder brush because the brush it comes with is kinda scratchy...but it's ok for touch ups on the go. I can't relate to the people reviewing this below when they say how the powder doesn't come out through the brush...... the first time I used it I shook the thing anticipating a struggle and powder went flying all over the place..LOL...so mine works just fine. I got this in a package deal that included a blush and a pressed powder. My only complaint is that I wish it came in a more yellow/neutral colour....it's fine on me (translucent) but it's a little pinkish and I'm trying to tone down the redness in my face. I think generally speaking most people look better with yellow/neutral powders.

first off the packaging is horrible because u can barelyget anything out. the formula is effective though but u might as well unscrew the brush and dip it into the container that the powder is in. when i bought this i bought it in a kit for 28 bucks that comes w/ and pressed powder, the veil and blush which if i had bought them seperatly it would had costed over 50 dolllars to i guess i was worth.

Great for those who are acne prone & oily/combo skin.
Especially since I have sensitive skin, I love this product.
For one, I don't wear makeup other than on the eye. But I have tried "drugstore" compact foundations & powders before but they always break me out since I am acne prone.
I have got to agree with everyone else about the packaging, I've tried to make it work but I just ended up wasting product, so I gave up, and the brush was such a pain to wash, so there's no point in using it, since it is rough & not soft at all.
I can wear this powder just alone by itself, and it keeps my face matte, and during the day it gives it a nice natural glow & does not look powdery or caked on, so I do not look greasy.
It also doesn't give a white cast, so it looks very natural, best of all it doesn't break me out!
On days where I want more coverage I used this over the Physicians Formula SPF spf 50 powder. And I use the Mineral Wear correcting powder and it leaves me matte all day, no touch ups needed!
On other days, I would just wear the primer and this powder over it or just the primer itself since the primer evens out my skintone.
I've got to say I love that Physicians Formula has natural ingredients & no talc. Great for those with sensitive skin, acne prone. It doesn't cover up redness if you use it alone but with the primer it is the best combination ever. continued >>

This is a good translucent powder. A lot of people are having problems with the brush but oddly enough, I don't mind it. It's not the softest powder brush I've ever used but it works and I like how it's small enough that I can get the powder into the tiny crevices of my face. I heard that the powder gets sent through the brush, but I don't know how that works. Maybe they've changed it? What I do is twist off the cap and dip the brush inside the container that has holes to prevent too much product from getting out which is very similar to Bare Escentuals. So all in all, I really like the powder and the brush is definitely useable, and since it's Physician's Formula, I doubt it will break me out.
I actually believe I may have finally found my HG face powder! I've only used this a couple of times, but so far it is amazing. I have never used another powder (including high-end brands) that controls shine the way this does. I put on make-up (foundation and this powder) late this morning, and my skin still looks flawless (now late afternoon). It doesn't even feel oily; usually my face is an oil slick by this point.
The packaging is really bad. I will definitely be liberating the powder into another container. And the brush is awful; don't even bother using it.
I'm still kind of waiting for something bad to happen (breakouts or other bad reaction) because I've rarely used anything that works this well. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I actually got this in a gift set (it included a mineral wear blush and foundation as well) for about $18, which is great considering most Physician's Formula products retail for at least $14 each. I was extremely unhappy with the attached brush; it felt rough and like it was scratching my skin. However, applying it with a large face brush I found it to give me such a flawless look! I will definitely be sticking with this until I find something I like better.
I have very very oily skin that breaksout so easily. and this is definitly my HG powder! I cannot live without it. I use the other PF mineral wear products and this over top and my skin looks flawless! I get sooo many compliments on my skin and I have to say it's thanks to this product. It looks like your skin is airbrushed. I don't like the idea of the packaging so I pour the powder into an empty container of mineral wear powder foundation and use either my kabuki brush or a fluffy blush brush and it works wonders. Definitly worth the 11 bucks!
I bought this because it was on sale for 5 bucks and I normally get maybelline's finishing powder but this was cheaper BIG MISTAKE!!!! I have sensitive skin and on the box is says good for sensitive/acne prone skin. I have been using this for maybe a week and my face is sooooo dry, red, itchy, and I have all these red bumps all over my face, I have a tingle like sensation all over my face I just want to scratch my skin off, I have no idea what's in this, but its torn my face up!!!!
