Very chalky, nothing fine at all about this translucent powder, infact it is very thick, even when applied lightly. Very good for gothic makeup for halloween though, certainly nothing to rave about unless you like looking like you just put flour on your face and i don't understand why there are people who rave it differently and talk about it being fine etc. I understand that people who work at BWC may want to promote this product for it to sell but pls do not overly promote a product that is not as good as the claims are, minimal and appropriate promoting is enough, whether the product work well for people or not, it's up to consumer to tell and decide. Once is enough, i will definitely not get this product anymore!
This review is for Ultrafine Loose Powder in "Fair Translucent". It is a mineral based powder that comes in a very generous amount, 25 g/0.88 oz for £5.95. (I ordered mine from honestycosmetics.co.uk) The container is big with a muted silver/gray lid with BWC white swan logo. There's a powder puff included but I use a taklon brush instead for application.
This powder offers a nice soft-focus translucent finish, not too matte and not shimmery. It holds up very well in humid weather and doesn't turn cakey or changes color. It works wonderfully for setting liquid foundation. The texture is silky smooth and feels incredibly luxurious. There's nothing negative to say about this product. I'll have to stock up!
Very soft and translucent powder that leavesa rather seamless finish. This comes in a more compact container as opposed to the bulky Christian Dior powder I was using before. Yet another BWC item that performs just as well if not better than non-vegan products. Edited to add: This line has just when through some revamping in formulation and sleeker, more modern packaging. The powder is more translucent than I remember which is a good thing.
