I share MikeD's sentiments about L'Artisan's Voleur de Rose compared to Rose de Nuit. I find the former a remarkable rose fragrance, deep and powerful, and while I do not find many occasions to...

I suppose it's ok for a man to comment on a fragrance that he finds wearable, even if it might be classified as "feminine." I have grown to really love most Serge Lutens fragrances, and this one...

i find this scent quite unusual (a good thing). its a soft rose, not sweety-sweet, and gentle without being too shy ie, my fatigued nose has no problem detecting it, even after a few hours' wear. ...

The lovely Victoria sent me a sample of Rose de Nuit, thank you. I was sort of hoping this would be like Voleur de Roses. The notes are rose, amber, musk and cypress. I don't hate this, but I...
