Scrubs -CHANEL -Precision Gommage Microperle Eclat

on 1/23/2019 2:39:00 AM

I’ve found some gems in Chanel’s skincare lineup and I’m happy to report this is one of them. I like to mixup exfoliation methods and this is a perfect gentle scrub. I like to wash my face with a gel-based cleanser first (La Mer or Bellatorra) and apply a thin layer of this while my face and hands are still wet. After a minute I massage my hands in circular upward motions for a minute and rinse off. The scent is light and fresh. Very pleasing.

Unlike many gommage products, this rinses off easily and doesn’t leave any residue behind. I like my enzyme powder on days I don’t use this, but it’s perfect when I need a more intensive exfoliation without the harsh beads many exfoliators have. Gentle, effective, and well priced.

Eye Shadow -CHANEL -Ombre Premiere Longwear Cream Eye Shadow

I have this in Undertone 802. Its a natural champagne peachy goldy bronzey caramel sheen. This is so hard to describe because its a little bit of everything, but at the same time, a simple color. I am C1 nc20 beige20 and this is one shade darker than my skintone. I used to be a Mac Groundwork paintpot lover, unfortunately it is too ashy in certain lighting and still creases on me. I wanted an easy everyday one eyeshadow look that i can slap on and call it a day/not worry about my oily eyelids. I am a lash extension and false lashes wearer and i am terrible at applying eyeshadow. I just wanted something thatll be pretty on the lids especially when i look down. My history with eyeshadow has been a battle, i have all types of brushes and have tried many palettes lol i suck. Most the time i look like i have a black eye. I blame it on my asian almond eye with the tiny crease/ semi monolids?

Chanel Undertone reminds me a bit of Mac Woodwinked eyeshadow without the rusty orange, this is a lot more wearable on me. Its warm light bronzey with a sheen that makes it look like you have more than one eyeshadow on. Its super buttery to the touch and really easy to blend. Once it sets its completely dried and it wont budge. I am loving the natural bronzed look all year round. Id pair this cream shadow with Soleil Tan de Chanel cream bronzer to add warmth to the face and then Chanel Alezane blush on the apples of my cheeks and across my nose for a sunkissed rosey glow. Pop some Eylure Vegas Nay lashes and Finish off with some Melted Honey Rouge Coco gloss and thats my everyday look. I can change my lip color and it can turn it into an evening look. Bronzey makeup is very versatile and give you a natural healthy glow if the products arent muddy or orange!

I’m obsessed with lipsticks

Lip Gloss -CHANEL -Rouge Coco Shine [moisturizing Glossimer] 119 Bourgeoisie

on 1/20/2019 1:07:00 AM

Bourgeoisie is very similar to Wild Rose in the original formula, which was my all time favorite lip gloss. They even have the same number on the tube (119). I still have half a tube of Wild Rose left, so was able to do a side by side comparison and Bourgeoisie is a bit more sheer and maybe a touch more brown than Wild Rose. It also looks more sparkly in the tube, but I didn’t notice a big difference once I applied it. All in all it’s a great color, but I can’t say I prefer it to Wild Rose.

Lipstick -CHANEL -Chanel rouge allure ink

on 1/19/2019 7:58:00 PM

I have this in 174 Melancholia. Its a vampy burgundy and a very sexy dark red lip! I wanted 154 experimente at first but i felt it was still too bright for what i like. Ive had Mac Russian Red and Ruby Woo and just cant rock super true blue base reds for a night out. I am more comfortable with a darker red lip like Mac Diva so i picked 174 over 154 for this reason. 174 is perfect. I believe this is a release after the initial one. The top of the cap isnt gold, its black.

The texture is liquidy and creamy. Going on very watery then drying down. Though it dries down a bit slow. I needed to do a couple layers for an opaque color. This does transfer but its a lot more comfortable than other liquid lipsticks. It isnt too drying but i can still feel something on my lips. Its there but it isnt uncomfortable. The applicator is like a spactula and flat on both sides. It kind of squares off into a point which makes it easy to use and draw on the lips. No liner is needed. This is also great as a stain. I can dab a little bit onto the center of my lips and blend it out with my fingers for a blurred out affect. It looks like a popsicle stained lip! I would def repurchase this because its so versatile but maybe in another shade, i think 174 is LE.

My favorite Chanel lipsticks are all comfortable on the lips. This has become one of them! I also love
Rouge Coco Shine in Boy 54, tinted balm, mauvey nude, great for touch ups, moisturizing
Rouge Coco Gloss in Melted Honey- clear gloss with fine warm shimmers
Rouge Allure Liquid Powder lipstick in Evocation 952- rosey pink, can wear as a stained look, complexion brightening
