For the price these arent really good. Yes they are silky, but so what? "Silky" is overrated anyways. So many cheaper brands make good as these. I do not like the packaging so I bought these as testers. Now I have my own Chanel palette containing. Azur, Fable, Fusee, Siesta. I have also had Tabou and chacut but I got rid of them. These fade so badly. Also pigment really is not there …Read more

This is my favorite eyeshadow right now. I don't call it HG because it can crease and fade a bit during the day. However, it is the best I have found so far and the colors are the best available. It is the color selection which makes me stay with Chanel. Also the formula is probably the best I have tried, but as I stated, it is not perfect.

I absolutely love Shadowlights. Eyeshadows tend o crease on me, but with Shadowlights, I never have any problems with lasting all day/night. The colors are sheer enough that they work for a daytime looik, and can be added onto for a nightime look. The only drawback is the packaging. I have three shades, and all of them have broken. I rarely take them with me anywhere and haven't dropped them …Read more

What can I say? I'm in looove!
I already have Chahaut and Fuseé. They are NOT like regular eyeshadows. It feels like silk to put on and are very blenable. I can't wait to go out and buy a few more shadowlights. Cuz I feel like someone special when I take out my Chanel shadow in public;)

I find that with all Chanel shadowlights e/s, they are VERY SHEER. I have 2 the light pastel blue (sorry forgot the name) and Lutin - an orangey gold w/shimmer. You definitely need an e/s base before apply (at lease i find)unless you like the natural softer look. I agree that they are very blendable and are very soft making it a dream to apply. HOWEVER the blue i have came out chalky and …Read more

I agree with Gimmemore below. Chanel Shadowlights are pure eyeshadow perfection. They apply true to color, perfect blendable consistency. Can be used wet or dry, and layered for intensity. I have Vega, Ylang, Nova, Chahut, TamTam & Echo and I plan to try more! My only wish is that Chanel would offer an empty palette & refill pans as the separate compacts can be a hassle when I'm in a …Read more

After trying some of the prof. lines like Face Stockhholm, Grimas...these are only a pale comparison. I have 3 of these. This seems like a silky textured average pigment eye shadow. I dont like the packaging. It takes too much room. The applicator that comes with is only silly. I like Clinique eye shadows better because they have also the genious packaging and nice applicators. The shadowlights …Read more

I am in love the quality, texture and colors of these shadows. The first one I bought was Horizon, and I thought it was an incredible shadow. The only problem...the darn shadow broke into pieces, and I did not even drop it.

Be very careful with these. I had the shadow a month, and one day I opened it, and the whole shadow was out of the pan (not broken, just out of the pan). I …

Chanel Shadowlights are THE eyeshadows to have. After reading the reviews here on MUA, I just *had* to go out and buy this to see what the fuss was about. And guess what? I was not disappointed. I bought Vega, and innocent-looking grey-brown in the pan, which immediately turned into beautiful shimmery light brown on my lids. It's natural enough to wear everyday, but it has that extra …Read more
