Soft but not very dense or full. It is kind of difficult to pick up an adequate amount of blush because the bristles aren't densely packed. And it doesn't blend very well either.

same prob as the all over face brush. scratchy and prickly. plus, its very flat, so if you were to use it for blush.. it'll be one harsh line of blush on your face, and you cant really blend it out...
