    I agree, it does look clown a bit but there's way to work it out, sometimes i just lighly fill my lips with it and add gloss, it's ok but not the best red i think

    This just looks sort of goofy on me -- it seems to be more like a berry-ish shade (if that's what is meant by the fushia effect?).

    This shade of red is very dark/bright. It works well when I use crushy white gloss and then line my lips with cherry liner as a lip stain. I'm not sure if I would repurchase this one. Update...

    The only issue that I have with this is the price, otherwise, it's wonderful t go with my red lipsticks or to wear with some gloss over it!

    This is a great cool-toned red lipliner. It works well with Russian Red, Glam, and other red lipsticks. It is not a true red, but slightly pinkish-red. Still, it does work with many red lipsticks....

    Love it, a wonderful red. Very versatile, as it can be worn under lipstick or stand alone color w/clear gloss. Long lasting, however a little pricey.

    I use this with balm for a great classic red lip, but there are other liners that apply more smoothly and are a lot cheaper than MAC's. I really like this liner, but I'm not paying $14 for another...

    Cherry lipliner is so pretty. It is a great red that does have a "blue" undertone but also looks like a true red somehow. Cherry should match many red lipsticks. I know it matches "RUBY WOO"...

    This is the only lipliner I own because I reckon red is about the only colour lippy that needs a liner. Cherry seems to be a true red which can turn warm or cool depending on what you put over it....
