Tinted Moisturizer - Kosas - Tinted Face Oil

I have had the Kosas Tinted Face Oil for a couple of months, having been attracted to the idea of a face oil that could double as a foundation/tinted moisturizer. My skin is combination - oilier in the summer and dryer in the winter. I am a big fan of face oils and layering hydrating products eg hyaluronic acid rather than one heavy layer of moisturiser.

I bought the oil from Mecca …

I am on my second tube of this mascara. I have sensitive eyes and long, fine, straight fair at the ends lashes. Like most people I'm forever on the search for the HG mascara. I tried this years ago, then kind of forgot about it until recently. I'd say it's definitely up there with the best mascaras I've tried.

The mascara goes on smoothly and is easy to layer. It …

I ordered a tube of this and the Renaissance Cleansing Gel from Cult Beauty a couple of months ago as a bit of a splurge. Normally I'm happy with my Body Shop Camomile balm cleanser and some Clarins cleansing milk but I'd always wanted to try Oskia, so I waited until I was out of cleanser and went to town. My skin is essentially normal, slightly oilier in summer and drier in winter …Read more

I'm on my third tub of TBS cleansing butter and I don't often repeat buy cleansers (there's so many to try!) so it must be good. I love the travel/earth friendly packaging and the scent which is clean and fresh. The texture of the cleanser is divine - it melts/emulsifies easily and is a joy to smooth on my face. I use this as a first PM cleanse when removing makeup, grime etc. I …Read more

I bought Indie Lee's Rosehip Cleanser a few weeks ago after being so impressed by her Brightening Cleanser (see separate review). Paid about AU$50 for 118ml of product in a glass bottle with a pump from Cult Beauty. The reviews I'd read about it elsewhere convinced me to give it a go. I have normal skin that's drier in winter and oilier in summer and I still get the odd breakout …Read more

I purchased my first bottle of Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser in early December 2016. I paid AU$60 for a 118ml glass bottle with a pump (it's about $10 cheaper if you buy it from overseas websites but I bought mine locally). I have normal skin that's drier in winter and oilier in summer and I still get the odd breakout which drives me bananas. Anyway, this is a lovely gentle …Read more

I bought this cleanser from Mecca in Australia for AU$62 2-3 months ago after I told the SA I was looking for an oil cleanser for my normal to combination skin that gets the odd hormonal breakout on my chin. I don't think there's any similarities between this and a traditional oil cleanser but she swore it would help all my skin issues.

OK, it smells great. The packaging is …

Lotions/ Creams - Aesop - Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm

Mar/28/2016

I have been using this hand cream on and off for years; the last two tubes I received were gifts from people who knew how much I liked this hand cream.
The balm comes in a 75ml metal tube. The metal tube can be somewhat impractical when bounced around in a handbag for weeks/months (it can split and ooze out which is annoying). It's a reasonably thick, herbal-smelling cream which …

I've had this foundation for a few months now. Initially I was looking for a foundation that wouldn't budge (foundations often slip all over my face and are gone by lunchtime) yet still looked natural. Cost me about AU$53 online as Becca is hard to buy in shops these days (rrp is $73 or so). I chose the Olive shade as that's the shade I am in the Luminous Skin Colour sheer …Read more

Mascara - Max Factor - Masterpiece Transform

Apr/26/2015

I bought this mascara as a hopefully cheaper alternative to By Terry's Terrybly mascara which I have just run out of and I love but the price kills me (it's AU$65). By contrast, the Transform cost about AU$23 from Priceline.

First off, I hate the brush. I have tried to apply it every which way I can, wiping off the excess etc but the brush just clumps the mascara on. I …
