Not quite as hydrating as I expected but it is quite nice. In comparison to my Hard Candy coconut water hydrating mist...this barely feels like anything on the skin. I have to use twice asany sprays with this to get the amount of extra hydration that I need (now that it's winter and my normal combo skin is dry and dehydrated) and this costs twice as much as the HC. However, it has a very delicate, fine mist, the ingredients are good, when sprayed over makeup it leaves a beautiful finish, and it doesn't WET the face at all or leave a sticky shine on the face like the Hard Candy one can. As a finishing spray it's beautiful...if you're REALLY dry and need a serious extra boost of hydration-you may need something heavier than this. Would definitely recommend for oily-combo skin types though

I have repurchased this product for the second time so i do like it.

Here's what I like:
- truly hydrating. It's not one of those mists that feel like it dries up and its gone
- packaging - yes, it actually sprites properly, and doesn't have any small nozzle head that might come off. I appreciate that Pixi put thought into it
- lid easily twists off. So? So I can go to Daiso and buy a small spritz bottle to put in my makeup bag for work or travel
- doesn't seem to clog my pores and is indeed hydrating. I spray sometimes for that extra boost at night if while I'm getting ready for bed I feel i didn't moisturize enough
- can also work as a setting spray or before makeup
- has a very light but night fragrance

Why not 5 stars?

I'm not sure if I see the results of the "youth prservation" per the bottle, but regardless, it serves my purpose of hydration.

Would by again!

I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Pixi Beauty at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada, with this product #1 on my list of items to pick up. I am so glad they are carrying it in their limited selection and of course I snatched it up right away. I have dry skin and often spritz rose water on my face but having read about this hydrating milky mist (hylauronic acid and black oat) I've been dying to try it and now that I have, here are my thoughts...

Packaging - hands down the most consistent finely misting spray applicator I've ever used (5 out of 5). This coats the skin evenly and does not make your face a dripping mess, rather evenly distributes the right amount of hydration to the face and doesn't need to be dabbed with a sponge afterward like some misting sprays do. When I finish the bottle I may just clean it and re-use for rose water because I love the packaging so much! There is a protective cap on the bottle so it portable and travel-friendly.

Hydration - yes, this does provide hydration to the skin. I have been making the switch to more cream products and less powders on my skin to avoid the dreaded cake face but dry skin just needs something more to help it look supple and more youthful. The hydrating milky mist delivers on it's claim. If my skin is particularly dry on a given day I will use this before foundation, after applying makeup, and again during the day if I'm feeling the need, especially now in the winter when skin can feel extra-dry. It dries without feeling sticky and does not impact makeup.

My opinion is based on only one week of use, but I can tell you that after the first day (just like the Glow Tonic) I was committed to this product. I think this is good for all skin types and really enjoy using this.

Cons:
- Everything about this product is perfect except one thing - the fragrance or some other ingredient gives me an immediate headache.
- Company will not refund the product

I have never been allergic to any cosmetics before!

Pros:
- Attractive packaging
- Sprays well
- Moisturizes well. It's not heavy, but you can feel it on your skin.

I'd go back to the Clinique moisture surge spray (which I loved), except I really hoped Pixi would be my cruelty-free alternative.
