Im giving this 5 stars because it blends foundation, concealer, and bb cremes so nicely! When put under water it gets a lot bigger, and its very soft. It leaves a natural finish with every foundation I've tried it with! It never gets completely clean, but I dont mind. It was 8$ at Superstore in Canada. For me, not having a job I found it some what expensive, but Im so glad I got it. The packaging was nothing special, it just came in a little clear bag. But I love the shape of the sponge, its a flat, white, teardrop shape. Which is good for getting in all the corners and blends great. I love it :)

As far as I can tell, the Joe Fresh Premium Blending Sponge is a decent representation of the beauty blender, for those Canadian ladies who don't have a Sephora or the like to buy a real beauty blender, and prefer not to purchase online. I am one of those, so I cannot compare. However, this is a pretty awesome makeup sponge. It was an even $10CND at the Atlantic Superstore. I admit, in the past, I cheaped out on sponges... getting those weird little tear apart walmart ones. and regretting it when they left little sponge pieces all over my face. This sponge is significantly better quality, and rather sturdy. This sponge is white (which leave it yucky looking even after washing, but I forgive it) and easily triples it's size when wet, which is how I use it. I dot foundation all over my face, and then start dabbing. The pointed end is great for around the eyes and nose, and the bottom does the job for the rest of my face and neck. Doesn't absorb much product. I keep it in a mesh bag so it can air dry, and it seems to be keeping very well. Not really anything bad to say about it, I'll definitely recommend these to my friends! Edited Sept. 9th, 2014: I've been using the beauty blender sponge as well for about a year now, and can compare the two sponges pretty well at this point. The Joe Fresh sponge is different, it is more dense and also has a smoother texture/not as porous. While they feel quite different, they are similar in size and shape. I do feel that the BB can sheer things out better, too much at times if I'm not careful, so if that's a quality you're looking for I'd recommend the BB. Otherwise, they perform very similarly IMO.
