One reviewer really liked this product, comparatively better than Clinique's eye and lip make-up remover (I believe the Clinique one is called "take the day off'). She found this removed product better than Clinique's. It was interesting she said this, because I found the opposite to be true. I found Clinique's to be far superior in texture/consistency than Clarins. I would still see traces of mascara and eyeliner on my lashes and skin after using Clarins, especially mascara. This is even after holding the cotton pad over my eyes for several seconds to thoroughly loosen the make-up. Additionally, Clarins' remover was too drying for me, and very rough on my eyelids. Plus, it would irritate my eyes - it would sting. I mean, some will inadvertently get too close (or into) the eyes once-in-while. I also had to use copious amount of Clarins' to remove whatever amount of make-up it could remove. I had received a deluxe size of Clarins (in a free gift). I am glad I had a chance to try this out before actually spending my money on it. I would definitely not purchase, let alone repurchase, this product. In contrast, I really like Clinique's eye-makeup remover and would consider repurchasing it instead.
