Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (All Shades)

I got this in the shade committed. It is a warm nude pink colour. This dries very matte and does NOT glue your lips together. It smells great like sweet mint. This lasts a decent amount of time but does need to be reapplied after eating a meal. The only thing that bothers me is the regular doe foot applicator. I much prefer the newer, flatter applicators that provide more precision when applying an opaque, hard to remove product like this.

I mean... it blends well. The texture reminds me of grease paint. It smells a little like paint. It settles into fine lines. Nowhere near the over-inflated price. I don't have any issues with screw top lids, but the packaging is sort of cheap for what it is. Also, who applies concealer before bed? Just buy an eye cream or something, pigment shouldn't be on your eyes overnight.

BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer SPF 18

I had such high hopes for this! While it had great coverage for my skin, lightened up the dark spots and covered most of the redness on my cheeks, it made my face itch, especially along the jawline and under my chin. I was so upset because I thought I'd maybe applied it the day after I'd done a treatment with an acid or a retinol but nope, I put it on this morning after nothing special used last night and whammo! To say I'm really bummed is an understatement. It was a great product and if it didn't make me itch I'd use it again and again :(
