Jergens

The Jergens Soap Company was founded in 1882 by Andrew N. Jergens Sr. and Charles Geilfus in Cincinnati, Ohio.* The company's first offerings were moisturizing lotions for women; those continue to be the best-selling products for the label. It is owned by Kao Corporation, which purchased Jergens in 1988. Its' personal care products are widely available in large retail and drugstore chains nationwide. *Source: Wikipedia

Natural Glow 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer - Medium to Tan

Not a fan of this at all. The smell is worse than the already awful usual self tanning product- much worse in my opinion. Slightly orange-ish and gets patchy quickly. It does blend easily for a lotion- but a mousse tanner is even easier.

Natural Glow 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer - Medium to Tan

If this came in the regular size Jergens natural glow tubes, I’d be muchhhh happier. The tubes are TINY! And yes I’d pay more for them. I’m a psycho tanner when I tan and use this and the regular Jergens glow for maintenance ONLY. It seems everywhere I see bad reviews are people using it on pale untanned skin. I’ve already gone from light to nc42 when I bust this out. I like both the Jergens lotions and even the wet one to maintain a serious tan. All in deepest shades. But this is just as moisturizing (fake tan makes me drier) and maintains a dark dark tan longer and faster. After my daily am shower, I put on the wet skin one as per instructions and when dry I slather this on generously (5’10 so I get like 3 uses out of it). I use head to toe but my facial skin is about as sensitive as my elbows haha. They make an spf face gradual tAnner if you’re sensitive. I use all tanners extremely generously and never ever have streaked. I exfoliate regularly. I don’t let my tan fade so I really cannot comment on the longevity and using it alone to build color. Jergens: make a normal sized tube of this stuff PLEASE.

Unfortunately, as I age, I’ve noticed that a lot of face creams irritate my skin, even things like Cetaphil and Cerave. Clinique gives me hives now. This is only one of two creams I can currently use; the other being ROC Retinol Correction Max Daily Hydration Creme. This Jergens one is my go-to because it is very affordable; I paid around $3.13 for a 15oz. jar at Walmart. It moisturizes and also can be used as makeup remover; although I prefer my Pond’s Cold Cream for that. I love this cream. However, in my experience, -how- this is used really makes the difference. I can’t use this like a regular face cream; I can’t apply and go on with my routine. It’s too thick for that. The method that I find best is, after I remove my makeup and wash my face with soap and a washcloth, I apply a few layers to make a mask of this cream and let it set for 5 minutes. Then, I remove the mask with a tissue. I wipe until I can’t see any cream my face; carefully, though; wiping too much or too hard can be counterproductive. My skin glows after I’m finished. And then, I go on with either my makeup or get ready for bed. I’m so glad I found this pretty pink cream! I’ve been using this everyday for about four months, and I couldn’t be happier.
