I bought this on Nordstrom Rack and I'm really glad I didn't pay full price.

I'm running out of my Tree Hut sugar scrub and saw this and decided to get it since it's self-tan season. The pre-scrub idea was intriguing at first, but it's actually impractical. I have to get in the shower and scrub, then get out and turn the water on to let it warm up, then get …

I ***LOVE*** the self heating concept but it doesn't get nearly as warm as I would like. But it does hydrate quite well. I also don't love that it is a scrub that you apply dry, as I like to scrub as a last step in the shower. I'm 50/50 on this one, but probably wouldn't buy again due to the price.

I love salt scrubs for a once a week good scrub and have just finished my large tub of amazing grace salt scrub from philosophy and was gutted to find it wasn't available anymore, so having a look around I decided on this one even though it was a completely different fragrance I mainly wanted the same results. I'm very pleased with this love the menthol smell and felt it was much easier …Read more

Heat: Every time I've used this product, I've had the heating sensation that some say they get and others say they don't.

Smell: This isn't a smell you probably want before going out on a wine and dine date. It is a great smell for after a hard day, feeling gross and sweaty, or if you want to convince your boyfriend that exfoliates are a good thing to try …

I have mixed feelings about this scrub. First let me say, I bought my jar over 2 years ago ( maybe 3?) and tonight is the 2nd time time I used it. Why? because I have so many other scrubs I reach for ( Decleor, GM Collin, Dermalogica, Murad Pomegranate, Juvena body peel, and even One minute manicure just to give you an idea!). I love scrubs and love to have baby skin all over, so my bathroom has …Read more

This is a nice body scrub - smells very minty, exfoliates well, doesn't leave an oily residue. BUT it is nothing more than that. It is supposed to help with cellulite but I dont see how it would work any better than any other body scrub. For $36, in my opinion, it's a ripoff. I don't even know why I bought it - another impulse buy I guess. You can get a body scrub just as good as …Read more

I love the energizing yet zen-like eucalyptus scent of this scrub. Since this has to be used on dry skin, I use it while I am treating my hair with a mask, then hop in the shower to rinse everything off. I use this by taking small amounts at a time and following the same strokes as I would for body brushing (moving towards the heart, then circular motions on my stomach and back). This scrub doe …Read more

I got a generous sample packet of the Hot Salt Scrub in a Beauty.com order and just got around to using it. I love the relaxing spa scent of rosemary and eucalyptus and it does seem to do its job of exfoliating and improving circulation. Unfortunately, it was just too strong for my skin. My chest flushed red on contact and didn't calm down for hours. Also, the formula is full of parabens …Read more

I neither love nor hate this product-but-I want to love all my products, so I'm not buying the Hot Salt Scrub again.

Cons:
It's expensive, and not where a little goes a long way either, you have to use quite a bit of the scrub to cover your body. It's a dry scrub, you use it on dry skin, then wash after. This can be a little rough and not really the pampering …

Did not like this scrub. The label was a bit confusing - I did not realize that you did not use this during the shower. Instead you use it before. I found it very difficult to use on dry skin, and it did not heat up at all. The results were ok, but the Lavender Sea Salt scrub from Trader Joes is a fraction of the cost and works just as well.
