Before I get into this review, a bit about my lashes. I have extremely strait lashes, and I personally love to curl them until they're curled from root to tip. With my normal mascara routine I start by curling my lashes with a normal eyelash curler, I start at the base, then middle, then ends. This gives me a dramatic curl that I love. I finish with waterproof mascara to make the curl last …Read more

-apply mascara first and allow to dry (as many coats as need be)
-insert AAA battery (not included) and turn on, wait approximately 15-20 seconds
-sweep lashes upward (wiggle if necessary), gently rolling and holding for UP TO two seconds from middle to tips of lashes, repeat, then repeat rolling and holding process at base of lashes until the desired effect is achieved (basically …

This curler is far better than I expected it to be. It gives the kind of curl I can't get with my regular curler, even when I blast it with the hairdryer.

This is what I found works best:

Curl lashes with my regular curler (either japonesque or shu).
Apply mascara.
Apply mini heated curler to base of lashes and move up the lash slowly, intermittently pausing …

I get much better results by using my Shu curler which I clamp down 3 times along the length of my lashes - never in the same spot repeatedly, but rather moving up the lash towards the ends if that makes sense - since my lashes are so short, straight and pretty much point down - doing this makes a HUGE difference versus just clamping once and it gives me the most perfect curl …Read more

Just got this and wish I had done so sooner. I always curl my lashes but have to heat a traditional curler with a blowdryer or hot water. This is so much less hassle and worked better.

I guess my eyelashes are really, really stubborn because even with this, it still doesn't curl easily. But I'll take what I can get. What I do is apply mascara, curl with metal lash curler, then apply the heated curler, then repeat the last 2 steps until I have a curl that will stay. The mascara melts off a little and I reapply a very light layer after the curl sets. As the battery …Read more

This is a great tool for people with thick straight lashes that don't hold curl. I am obsessed with curling my stubbornly straight eyelashes, some of which point down and back into my eyes!!! So, unfortunately I cannot go anywhere without an eyelash curler. Curling them makes me feel and look more awake. Anyways, the best old school curler I used was the Shu, but after an hour, the curl …Read more

I LOVE this curler. I was a little bit skeptical when I first bought it and thought that I would quickly revert back to my regular eyelash curler, but I have not gone back since I bought this product. I originally bought it because I had gotten eyelash extensions and you are only allowed to use a heated curler not a regular one, but I love how easy this is to use and most of all it can go …Read more

I really like this product. My lashes are really long...but really straight. I don't like the traditional curlers because the leave the crimp marks and I always manager to pinch my skin. This curler is really easy to use and it really works! Like some of the other reviewers have stated, it does go through batteries rather quickly, but I keep a couple of extra ones in my makeup case. …Read more

I've been using this for about a month now, and I really like it! It does go through a lot of batteries, but I always have spares on hand so it's not really an issue for me. You can tell when the battery is out of juice when the curler doesn't heat up as "hot" as it usually does. I have very straight lashes and I absolutely hate lash curlers because they ALWAYS pinch me …Read more
