I have this is 74 walking in the sand. its a nude shade with spects of gold glitter. This can be used as a base, on its own I find it quite plain. Not sure why perhapes I prefer more pigmentation for this.

This shade is suitable if you want a subtle make up look.

Ugh I got Hawaiian beach with TONS of glitter ini it. It falls off almost instantly, all over my face especially on my cheeks. Very noticible glitters so it's a disaster... I tried using eyeshadow primers (urban decays and panda whitening eye cream) but none of them holds up the horrible glitters. Tried using sponge, brush, fingers, nope didn't work. I love the color so it's very sad!

It's hard to write a review for an entire line of eyeshadows from ANY company - MAC, Makeup Forever, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Chanel, Tom Ford and Burberry - all of them will have some absolute winners and a few stinkers in the group. The same is true of Sephora's "house brand" of eyeshadows. They have a huge range of colours and finishes. But the majority of them - and all the ones I have tried, and I've tried a LOT - have been fabulous. Add to that the fact that you get a lot of product for a small price tag and, really, this is all "win/win". When they revamped the line more than 5 years ago now, they would toss in a nice empty palette with the purchase of 2 shadows (they no longer have those palettes or that "deal" but it was great while it lasted). Another fabulous feature is that while the individual shadows come in sturdy, attractive containers, they are also very, very easy to depot and have been designed this way (none of the ridiculous measures you need to depot a MAC shadow are involved) and they stick in Z palettes without the need for a stick on magnet (I think MAC is one of the few eyeshadows that needs these and, of course, their pro pans come WITH magnets glued on and that keeps MAC shadows from sticking into Z palettes!). Buxom and ABH single shadows transfer easily to palettes but they don't come in containers that allow you to use them "as is". The Sephora shadows give the best of both worlds! Honestly, they are so worth trying out because many of them are truly great quality. Sadly, they discontinue a lot of them (some of my favourites are already gone or being phased out, though the pans are so large, I won't run out for a decade!) so you really owe it to yourself to get into a store and try out the ones you think you might like.

January 2018: Sad news with an up side, I guess - it looks as though Sephora is getting rid of ALL their eyeshadows. I am guessing they are coming out with an entirely new collection, which should be exciting if the quality and variety are on par with the existing collection (which is rapidly shrinking in size/availability). The up side of this is that these are now marked down to $6 (CDN) so I went in today to check the remaining stock and picked up Roasted Chestnuts, a matte neutral brown shadow for which I've several dupes but it's a colour I've always liked and the performance of it, when I first tested it out, is excellent. So for the sale price, I decided to grab it while I could. There are many lovely shades still available though this varies from store to store and online (some shades sold out online were available in store). You really can't go too wrong with these, especially at this discounted price.

This is the perfect party-shadow for my green eyes! I have very small eyelids and this shadow make my eyes so big and beautiful. I do not like the glitter fallout, but other than that, it's perfect! Makes my eyes pop and I feel sexy when I wear this!

Simply lovely! I own No. 74 Walking In The Sand (single) & the Beautiful Crush Blockbuster Palette (contains 72 I think? e/s) as far as Sephora e/s & they are awesome!! The B/C palette has the e/s shaped in hearts arranged into "quads" & No. 74 is beautiful w Chlorophyll Sephora Nano eyeliner (kind of mimics the Sephora bday gift of a couple of yrs ago...I did not buy from Sephora then!). I bought this e/s in fact to wear w green e/l & what better than a $3 Nano e/l? The e/s are competitively priced when in a palette or ESP on sale but a good option as singles or sets (I don't own any of the quads...yet) because ur getting not only better-than-DS quality, I cannot even think of a single DS line that are as good but I don't mind paying for quality. I do wear mostly HE shadows so I'm used to UD, MAC, EL, & Clinique...investing in high quality e/s prevents creasing & prolongs wear ESP when paired w a good primer (eg UDPP). Investing in a few quality items rather than a zil cheap crap will serve u much better...the best u can reasonably afford to budget! Some of the sephora quads on sale price rival DS $, if u shop smart & watch 4 sales u can afford to collect intelligently.

This reminds me why it is worth paying more sometimes. I buy a lot of makeup and was hoping to save by trying out some Sephora singles. The shade selection was impressive, but that's probably the best thing I can say about them. The colour quality does not translate when applied to the skin, and I find them really hard to blend, even having tried different brushes.

Learned my lesson; won't repurchase.

I have their Lavender Field eyeshadow which is a gorgeous purple with subtle glitter. I love this, it is very pigmented. If you use some sort of base, it doesn't crease too much and lasts all day. The case it comes in is difficult to open, but other than that I have no complaints.

Love how it blends well and always shows without primer. I use the moon eyeshadows from Sephora the most but all are great!!
