I fell in love with the scent of Lush's Sleepy hand and body lotion and I've been dying to try the shower gel ever since it launched. The lotion has the best lavender scent I know - soft and sweet, and not sharp and medicinal in the way some lavender scented products can be. I'm a midnight shower kind of person, so I was really looking forward to making my nightly showers even more relaxing with the shower gel. I don't currently have the sleepy lotion on hand, so I can't compare the scents to see if they're exactly the same, but they're close anyway. Perhaps the sleepy lotion was even more rounded/balanced, but the shower gel is still really great. The gel itself lathers well and the lather is quite creamy. I'd say a little more so than the Rose Jam shower gel, which is my other favourite from Lush. A little goes a pretty long way. It also contains oat milk, which I find very soothing for my skin. I am a little prone to eczema, and Lush's products with oat infusion/oat milk work really well for me. If you really love the scent the way I do, I'd recommend buying the lotion as well and layering them for a more longer lasting effect. Something I loved while using the lotion was that the scent would cling to my bedsheets, so going to bed I'd get a whiff of the scent even on nights I hadn't used it. The scent of the shower gel doesn't linger the same way, but I guess that's to be expected from a wash-off product. + Cruelty free + Vegan + Oat infusion is really soothing for the skin + Soothing, warm and sweet scent
