Hydrabio Serum

I went through a stage of getting chemical peels [in an attempt to clear my acne & blackheads]. The dermatologist gave me a sample of this serum, as my sensitive skin started to become red and peel. I was thrilled when I saw a drastic improvement overnight! I have officially added this serum to my own skincare collection. Yay! It has a light, clean scent (same as the Hydrabio micellar cleanser) and feels like a 'drink of water' on your skin. The pump action bottle, allows you to control exactly how much you use, a little goes a long way. I apply it in the evenings to a fresh face when my skin is in need of some extra moisture or radiance. I believe you can layer it with moisturiser, but I tend to use it on its own, which is enough for my combination skin. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling afterwards and soaks into the skin well. It is a lightweight formula, so my skin feels plump, supple and able to breathe. Pros - Great consistency - A bottle lasts a while with constant use & quality packaging - Lovely fragrance Cons - A bit pricey, but I believe it is on par, if not less than other serums?!

Sunscreen is my religion. I apply it everyday, diligently in the hopes of aging gracefully... Every gal needs the ole faithful sunblock! I was delighted to give this product a try, as it seemed to offer more benefits than just the standard broad spectrum protection. It contains antioxidants (vitamin C, E & Centella Asiatica) which regenerate and moisturise the skin, whilst preventing signs of aging and sunspots. SPF 50 with an 8 hour retention and resistant to water/heat/humidity. As I'm merely 24 years old, wrinkles aren't my main concern but I have started to notice some fine lines beginning to form. After having used this product for about 6 months, I am happy to report that I have seen slight changes in my skin's appearance (not gonna lie, nothing radical, I probably still look the same). Although, my 'wrinkles' seem less defined and I have less pigmentation on my cheeks. I'm a sucker for multi-tasking beauty products (both great for my laziness and for the budget!). Needless to say this product has replaced my moisturiser. It has a gel-cream texture, which is perfect for my combination skin and doesn't leave the icky white cast/tacky residue. Lightly fragranced, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is a perfect make-up base. DISCLAIMER: I have used it over other day creams and what a total disaster. It DOESN'T pair well with certain products and starts creating balls and flaking off when you rub your skin - you have been warned! Pros - A jack of all trades - High SPF - Cruelty-free Cons - A little pricey

Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel

This shocked me. I ended up with a sample size of this buying more of their water cleanse, and feel in love. I normal hate any kind of foaming cleanser, it strips my skin and ends up screwing with my moisture barrier and I break out. This is so gentle, it keeps my skin soft and clean without doing too much. It won’t take your makeup off, it’s a morning cleanse or a second cleanse. Amazing though and I have bought a full size bottle and feel no need to ever try anything else. Absolutely a holy grail product for me.
