The best blushes for my oily skin. I loved the brown- peach one the best. Its the easiest to blend but the vibrancy of the red one was unbeatable. I even loved the plum one mixed with one of the others or on my lips. You get the best results if you apply this over freshly moisturized skin before your foundation. So bummed this is discontinued but I have a tiny bit left.

Not wild about these liquid stains, they are near impossible to blend (unless you use them over a multiple stick and then they dont set as nicely into the skin and dont give you the look you really wanted which was sheer matte glowing blush...)

As a cheek stain -
I put this on and people asked "what happened to you?"
Enough said.

As a lipstain -
This is somewhat acceptable as a lipstain. But you could just use a lipliner and blot and save yourself some $

Not impressed.

I've broken two bottle caps now - I don't try to screw them THAT tightly, and yet they break like nothing. For $24 USD, you'd think they'd make them better... but anyway, bottle caps aside, this did provide a beautiful flush if applied carefully and properly. if not, it does have the tendency to streak or blotch, but it IS a stain, after all. Novices, be careful, and …Read more

Ok I love NARS products but this one totally sucks. It doesn't work on any type of skin (dry, oily, etc). Its water based so it looks splotchy or streaky and dries really fast. Everytime I tried to use it I gave up and scrubbed it off. You are better off just using a creme, gel or powder blush or bronzer. Benefit's Benetint (blush tint) and Glamazon (bronzer tint) products work a …Read more

UPDATE: I've upped my opinion of this product by one lippie because I've found that the key to using this is WELL MOISTURIZED cheeks, as in, your face must still be moist from moisturizer. This keeps the color from collecting in the pores. Apply with a dampened sponge, and you do get a natural looking "from within" kind of flush that you can't get from a powder. …Read more

I'm not really into these, I find I have to dip in about 5 times before getting enough blush to work with. I am a bigger fan of Stila's push-up blushes that stay on better and don't disappear if you want to powder on top a little bit.

I got this in a swap (the shade is Modesty). I agree with what several other reviewers have noted thus far: As a lip stain, it's fantastic -- very natural looking, and this particular color compliments my skin tones. (I do blend it with a light gloss, as I think the stain might be uneven without it.) It works for me as a cheek stain, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who …Read more

I use Blow Up as a lip stain only.

I think it makes a great wash of colour, kind of evens out the lips and gives them a warm glow. I put Bobbi Brown Tea Tint over the top to warm up the gloss. But I love Blow Up for its wash of colour without stickiness or being 'made up' on weekends.

Would love to try Pussycat as a pink alternative, is it deeper or bright pink?

I have this in Blow-up and Pussycat. Blow-up is a shimmery bronze and Pussycat is a bright rosy red. Pussycat has the better color payoff of the two, but for staining power, these beat BeneTint like a cheap rug. And for those having leak issues with the bottle, do what I do: decant it into a clean roll-on perfume bottle. You lose the dead chic NARS package but you gain portability and ease of …Read more
