To use this you're supposed to run it into your lips and then wipe or wash the excess away. It's a scrub, not a gloss. This leaves your lips soft and tingly and works well

This lip buffer was waxy, too minty, uneffective, & not worth the money. I recommend Burt's Bees Cranberry & Pomegranate Sugar Scrub which is way better & smells amazing!
