Pond's

Pond's skincare company was founded after a pharmacist named Theron T. Pond created a "Golden Treasure"- a healing witch hazel extract meant to treat skin irritations and other ailments. Afterward it became known as Pond's Extract. Since then the company has grown to be the "world's first skincare brand",* offering a full line of cleansers, moisturizers, and masks. *Source: Company website

Cold Cream Makeup Remover Deep Cleanser

I have sensitive, acne-prone, dry skin, and I wear sunscreen and makeup (eyes, brows, face, and lip) on most days. I bought this on a whim, tired of using face wash and splashing my face wet in a sink. To use, I take a dollop of cream and rub it around in circles over my face and neck, then gently wipe and pat dry with a microfiber cloth until all of the cream is removed. No traces of sunscreen or makeup are left, and it doesn’t dry me out or break me out! The best part is that the entire process takes a minute or less. A tub lasts a long time, many months to a year. I’m on my second tub and will keep repurchasing. I would advise using a microfiber cloth instead of tissues, as it’s softer (especially on the delicate skin of your eyes), doesn’t leave particles behind or break apart, and is reusable/washable. I bought a pack of microfiber cloths meant to be used to clean/dust a car (so like 20 large hand cloths from Walmart for $5) and this is all I use them for. Much more economical and gentler on the face, in my opinion.

Clarant B3 Dark Spot Correcting Cream

I wanted to love this, I have been using it for two months religiously, morning and night. Massaging it into the age spot on my forehead hoping to see it disappear. Well, it has not. It has lightened some, and my skin tone overall has evened out and is a bit more clear. But it's not quite strong enough to do the job I wanted it for I guess. The jar is huge and it makes a very good moisturizer so it was not a waste of money. Also it has helped my neck spots a bit. But those were far lighter to begin with. For the price, around $7.00, you can't really go wrong if you have some very light discoloration. But you must apply it twice a day, every day, to see results. It seems to mix fine with any other primer or makeup too. I would recommend.

Ponds Crema S Nourishing Moisturizing Cream

Let me start out by saying I have dry, sensitive 58-year-old skin. My old moisturizers aren't cutting it. I really wanted this to work the price is so good. But -- it is so strongly scented I had to wash it off pretty soon after applying it. It didn't moisturize well, and my skin stung a little once I put it on. My HG remains Weleda Skin Food.
