Moisturizers -ORIGINS -High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral-enriched renewal cream

I have oily skin, acne prone and this is the only heavy moisturizer my skin can handle without getting awful breakouts. I use it as a night cream in the winter and I like it bc it has its hydrating and contains a few anti-aging goodies that make my skin glowy and plump in the morning. It also pairs well with the Drunk Elephant Framboos Glycolic treatment, which I layer right under. If you have oily skin but still need some hydration, give this a try!

Moisturizers -ORIGINS -Original Skin Matte Moisturizer with Willowherb

Another wonderful moisturizer from Origins. Love this one in addition to their Nightamins and the Ginzing moisturizer. This one is designed for oily skin, which I have. It wasn’t a miracle worker in making my face matte but it was a nice feeling, hydrating cream and maybe kept my face 15% less oily. Layers great under SPF and makeup and smells and feels great. I am also acne prone but this one didn’t cause any breakouts. Doesn’t pack a punch for anti-aging though, so a serum or treatment is needed if that is a concern. Interacts well with those as well.

Masks -ORIGINS -RitualiTea Mind Over Mate Invigorating Powder Face Mask with Yerba Mate & Citrus

This is one of four powder masks in the range.
- Matcha Madness
- Mind Over Mate
- Oolong-La
- Feeling Rosy

The powder is to be mixed with water to form a paste and then applied onto cleansed skin. But I usually mix mine with La Roche Posay facial water mist for the extra benefits. When water/ facial water mist is added to the powder, the mixture bubbles.

This powder (Mind Over Mate) is orange in color and has a very earthy smell.
It smells natural - like the smell of the grassy muddy patch after a rain.
This smells a tad stronger, and 'muddier' than Matcha Madness.

This works fine in cleansing the skin. However, given the rather 'muddy' smell, I'll give this one a pass.

There are specks (tea flakes, I think) in the paste that helps with exfoliation when the dried mask is washed off.

When used on its own, this mask cleans the skin very well.
Recently, I added a small scoop of The Ordinary's L-Ascorbic powder to this powder to form a paste for masking. After washing off the dried mask, my skin looked a tad brighter as well as cleaner. Caution is recommended when using the L-Ascorbic powder - too much of it can cause a sting.

Overall, this is a nice mask that I'll repurchase.
I like the idea of being able to customise my masks to suit my skin according to needs.

Masks -ORIGINS -Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

This is a decent face mask. I'm extremely oily. So oily that without mattifying products I wash my face and then every hour after that I'm filling up 3 to 5 big boscia blotting sheets. I also have adult hormonal acne that's exactly the same as my teen acne and although there's nothing I can do from the outside to stop them coming there is things I can do from the outside to dry them up and treat them and drain them (eww! I know lol I wrote a whole super mattifying products that really work good blog on my blog at yarnandbeauty.blogspot dot com.)
And I like this mask. It's decent and it feels nice putting it on and then letting it tighten and then washing it off. It makes my face more glowy immediately afterwards because of all the blood flow of Basically massaging my face that long through that many steps but overall I seen no results really.
I may be bias and have super high standards because of the Glam Glow Supermud mask. I mean how could you not be after using a mask capable of sucking out so much oil you actually see the mask around your most oily areas turning wet looking again in a pore or zit shape because its literally sucking stuff out of my skin. So much oil and gunk that I'm almost completely matte alll day the next day which I've never experienced before that mask.
So I admit because of this mask and the capabilities I can see that a mask can have this mask kind of falls flat on it's face with me.
It's not expensive in terms of sephora skincare and masks they carry but its way too expensive not to see immediate results and so I never repurchased.
Everyones skin is so different I can't recommend or not because this could be a holy grail for you. What I do recommend is going to sephora and asking for a sample of this before you buy it. They will give you one and you don't have to buy anything in the process. Go home and test it and then decide.
