Leaves a nice silky feeling with slightly rose scented powder smell. sets makeup well. Skin stays matt til evening in air con place. with primer, makeup lasts outdoors, in humid weather for the entire day. no blotting required. does not alter the colour of my skin. expensive because it is half the amount of other loose powder in the market. This is my second purchase and until now i have not managed to find a cheaper alternative. no breakout experienced. my skin type: sensitive, dehydrated, prone to acne, combination skin.

This i a very well blended oil, sensorial experience makes you put more than our skin actually needs! Great for all skin types, but for oily skin, I would mix a few drops in to one of their serums. You can use a thin layer of it under clay and mud masks. It's great as a body oil as well.

Jurlique is a brand that has captured my attention many times, for one reason alone: the ingredients. Very few brands utilize as many botanicals in their products as they do. Having said that though, most products I've used from the range have failed to win me over. Most just seem adequate at what they do and this one is no exception. I didn't notice any hydrating effect and if anything my skin felt slightly itchy after spraying this on - despite only 2 spritzes of it on an evening and without makeup on. This could have possibly been down to the high alcohol content. I do find the fragrance (even though it's derived purely from roses) to be strong although it does dissipate quite quickly which was a relief. I've since donated my bottle to my mum as she has been wanting to try this out for some time too. My suggestion: Grab yourself a bottle of actual 100% rosewater which you can pick up at ethnic food stores, costs just a fraction of this and calms/soothes and tones the skin much more effectively. Selena x~ My HG list ~(I've sampled many 100s of skin, hair and m/u products over the last decade and a half, as I love constantly trying out new stuff - usually sample sizes via e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora. Thought it might be useful to share my top 10 must-have products, subject to change if and when I come across something more effective) 1. Hair Loss Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Hair Oil2. Lip Balm: Jack Black - Intense Therapy3. Pigmentation + Anti-Ageing Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Facial Treatment Serum4. Cleanser: 'Paula's Choice' - Skin Balancing Cleanser5. Concealer: ‘Mac’ - Studio Finish Concealer6. Lash Growth Serum: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Divinelash7. Foundation/SPF: ‘Juice Beauty’ - Stem Cellular Repair (warm glow)8. This is a great serum. I use both this one and the more expensive Jurlique Nutri-Define serum. This fixes my skin's dry, flaky problem using a couple of pumps after cleansing. It smells good and goes on easily. It's not an oil, but rather a heavier lotion texture. This serum doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause me to break out.

I love this serum! My skin can tend to be dry and flaky regardless how much I moisturize or exfoliate but when I use this serum or the Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Firming And Tightening Serum my skin no longer looks dry, in fact sometimes I skip moisturizer and just use my sunscreen in the morning. I use 2 pumps of it after cleansing and the bottle lasts a long time. This serum doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, or cause me to break out which has been a problem for me with other facial serums.
