Really not for me! Too sweet and smells like something 12 year olds would wear.

Probably my favourite I've tried from Escada, due to it lasting longer than a few hours, smelling more rich and natural (to me most Escada smell like thin cheap chemicals) and matching the delightful feel of the box artwork and bottle design. Born in Paradise is a tropical beachy floral with light fruity notes and a rich, warm creamy woods base. The top notes are sweet and fresh pineapple with coconut which lasts a few minutes. For coconut lovers its not a typical "coconut", more like freshly cut coconut milk mixed with whipped cream - just like a pina colada made for you in the islands. This fresh fruit sensation lasts for a few minutes only. Then comes the main part, sweet guava florals, and lots of creamy woody musk which Escada calls "a creamy, velvety sensation". Touches of watery watermelon supporting in the background makes it lighter and fresher than regular creamy musks. I don't usually like aqueous or watermelon notes, but here its fresh watery tropical watermelon, not sweet rotting cantaloupes, and combined with the sweet guava, it works well. The notes say apple, and there isn't any tart green apple, but I do get a feel for a golden delicious (yellow apple) at full ripeness, if you've ever tried one fresh off the tree they are delightful. No pencil shavings so Cedar is absent for me. There aren't any floral notes listed, but I feel they are there. Overall this fragrance recreates for me the impression I had one magical night in the Islands, walking around the pool gardens full of scented tropical flowers, then sitting down to a pineapple drink and drinking in the magic night scents and sounds. Lasts 6 hours+ on my normal to oily skin. I usually get 1 - 2 hours from Escada although they have improved recently (Cherry in the Air).Top Notes - apple, watermelon, guavaHeart Notes - coconut milk, pineappleBase Notes - sandalwood, cedar, musk

I really like this perfume. It's a nice, simple floral that isn't too overpowering. It dries down to almost a baby powder scent on my skin. I'm not a crazy perfume expert, so that's the best description I can give you. I wish this perfume lasted a little longer on me, but it does last from when I put it on at 7 until my 12:30 lunch break. After that, I spritz some of my cheap Bath and Body Works body spray on to top up on fragrance. As far as perfumes go, it's not terribly expensive for the amount of product, which also drew me to it. The packaging is nice and looks very expensive. I will most likely repurchase it unless I find something I absolutely fall in love with and also suits my price range.

A beautifully packaged limited edition (spring/summer 2017) fragrance. $48 for a 1 oz. spray. ($25 for a rollerball).Summery fruity - sweet and delicious - a bit "young" (certainly not an "old-lady" scent) and I happen to love it. If you like guava/passionfruit scents - try this one.

This is so nice. It´s like summer in a bottle for me. I got this as a gift from my husband, and lucky for me, he bought the big bottle.I get so many compliments when I wear this parfume. I like to spray it on in a cold snowy winterday, because it makes me think of summer.
