I was hesitant to purchase since the shampoo I tried before this was Garnier's Hydra Recharge. I only got a third of the way into the bottle and it had completely dried out my hair. I am so glad I tried this one. I LOVE this shampoo. I'm almost thirty and this is one of my favorite shampoos... definitely my favorite drug store shampoo ever. My hair is almost to my waist, fine, and damaged (mostly at the ends). The first day I used it there was a noticeable difference in my hair. It was shinier, appeared healthier, and tangled significantly less through the day.Two days later, I went back to the store and bought four giant bottles of shampoo and conditioner- that's how impressed I am. I've finished the initial bottle so far and the love is still going strong. I would like to note that I do need to use a cleansing type shampoo every week and a half or so.
This is a review for the Triple Nutrition for extra dry hair, the pearly creamy version of this shampoo not the gel-like. I washed my hair and it turned it into a tangled mess, I usually use Clear Scalp shampoo in shea butter and my hair doesn't even need conditioner after even though is dry and colored to the max. I couldn't believe that a shampoo that is made for dry hair could make it drier, I felt like I used Prell instead. I called the 1-800 and they had me on the phone with a supervisor for 18 minutes questioning me and blaming it on my hair. Will go back to Clear Scalp.
EDIT: ran out of shampoo and had better luck, it didn't dry my hair out and I've noticed that I have no hairloss when I use this along with Garnier Strength and Length conditioner.

Long story short: I have dry falling hair, and went to go shopping for some shampoo. The Fall Fight and Triple Nutrition bottles looked exactly alike. So I picked up the Fall Fight shampoo, and decided to go for a larger bottle because I am a shampoo freak. But instead, when I got home, I took a closer look and realized, sadly, I picked up the wrong bottle, Triple Nutrition. But I needed nutrition anyways, so there was positive spin to this story. *Review*: After that first wash, I could not believe it, it was a miracle!!! My hair felt extra soft and I can't stop running my fingers through it. The dryness disappeared and I hope it won't come back again. I love this product it the SHIZZ!! (sorry for the profanity, this is like the best shampoo I have ever used!)
I like the original but this is even better. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. I don't feel any residue which is great since I can get a greasy scalp easily. This was a bit hard to find in my area. I finally found it at Walgreens and bought the last bottle. I use this with the sleek and shine conditioner and they make a good duo for my hair. For reference, I have medium textured 3b curls.
I can`t believe how GREAT this product is! Now, there is the dry version which is a clear, gel like shampoo. (I don`t buy clear ones, they don`t work for dry hair well.) But this one for Extra dry hair, this one is creamy, super super creamy! It smells lovely, typical Fructis smell, very fruity. Lathers nicely, it does not weigh down my very fine hair but still moisturizes it completely. I really can`t complain. Oh yes, actually, it was kinda hard to find, finally at a local Rite Aid. Once you buy it, and like it, run back and buy a few more bottles because many places are sold out. :-) Cheap and works the best, I really think this is my very-very favorite drugstore shampoo, costs like $4 and works wonders! :-))) Yes, it worked INSTANTLY, after just 1 wash, made a BIG difference, I am sooo glad I got it!!! :-)))

I know there is already a Garnier Triple Nutrition category, but the shampoo I am reviewing is a new entry in the line, and I feel it deserves a huge shout-out on it's own.
It is called Triple Nutrition Extra-Dry, Damaged Hair, and I have never in my life used a shampoo that had such an immediately *amazing* impact on my hair. My hair is very, very thin and fine and pin-straight (pretty, huh?). Over the past few years it has become quite dry (mostly on the ends) as a result of aging, not from any abuse. I have used the Redken "Soft" line, & everything Kerastase makes, as well as Phyto. Because I can be brain-dead at times, I tend to think that the more you pay, the better it will be.
Two weeks ago I was traveling & didn't bring any shampoo. The hotel's shampoo was Molten Brown & absolutely awful (drying & masculine smelling). With little time to spare, I dashed to a drugstore & grabbed this Garnier shampoo because I noted the "extra-dry" description.
This shampoo has given me a new lease on life. It makes my hair absolutely gorgeous - loads of swinging body & it feels fabulously touchable - no dryness whatsoever. The shampoo is super creamy, yet it lathers up luxuriously (as opposed to Redken's Soft shampoo, which is akin to rubbing lotion into your scalp). I find the scent very pleasant, but frankly, with the results I get from this formula, I wouldn't care *what* it smelled like.
I know how quickly these companies discontinue lines so there is always a new great thing on the shelves, so I am stocking up on several of the gigantic bottles of this while it's still around. I cannot recommend this shampoo highly enough for my friends out there with dry, lifeless hair. I promise you, you will love it :)
