I like this oil because it does not clog my pores and break me out. It has a strong scent so if you are sensitive to that you may want to pass. I use it when the cold weather starts here in Chicago. That dry air really dehydrates and irritates my skin. This works well at night to give it extra moisture and relief. As for on my body for stretch marks (which i have) it did not help with those at all. It is pretty expensive so to slather it all over your body may not be the best if you want it to last. This also works great on your cuticles. This also soaks into the skin quickly so you are not a greasy mess after application. Its worth a try if you have dry skin.Pro-absorbs quicklydoes not clog poreshydratinggreat for nails and cuticles Con-Kind of pricey compared to other body oilsstronger smelldoes not do much for stretch marks and scars.

Disappointing product. I have not noticed any significant difference in my skin even when I have been using this product for more than a year. Save your money.

I purchased Bio-Oil to try to reduce the appearance of some stretch marks. I was using it once, sometimes twice a day, every day for about two months. Absolutely no change in my skin. Ok, well I spent twenty bucks on this stuff, it has to be useful for something, right? So I tried it on some recently acquired dark/red spots on my legs from mosquito bites, ant bites, random scratches. Nope, nothing. It really never even absorbs into the skin, just sits on top feeling gross. Which also means I get dog hair stuck to it, ew. I still have half a bottle left, so maybe I'll try it on my feet with socks to see if it softens my skin. It does smell nice, but that's due to some questionable ingredients...

Used this for the first time yesterday for some acne scars. I can tell a difference already. The smell is not my preference because it smells like roses. I also before I applied it, made a hydrogen peroxide, honey, and baking soda mask. Left on for 20 min, rinse and apply the oil. Woke up 3 hours later and my acne scars were lighter. The acne scars were fairly new. I repeated the same mask and applied the oil today. It's working great. I've also been using a scar gel periodically. It's the cheap equate brand.

I can't speak for the effectiveness of this product healing scars but it is amazing at helping with KP! This in conjunction with my nightly routine of globbing on am lactic is working wonders.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel like I need to share my experience somehow. So I moved to a new apartment and didn't realise my room had a lot of fleas. I used some flea bomb treatment which I thought worked but not totally. I ended up having flea bite marks all over my body like chicken pox. I remember crying upon looking at my used to be flawless skin (I'm fair so the marks were rather obvious). Anyway so I learned about bio oil and decided to apply it religiously everyday determined that the marks will go away. I got used to applying it generously on my skin morning and night for atleast a month. The marks started fading away and woke up one day to see most have actually disappeared. I can still see a few if I looked really really close otherwise they're not noticeable on just a glance. I wished I took a photo on the before and after result because it made a huge difference. I'm beyond thrilled I gave this product a chance and will definitely repurchase if I needed it again!

I bought this oil back in March in hopes of ridding of my old pre-teen acne scars/new acne scars and I used it religiously twice a day until July. to me it just seemed like scented baby oil. Nothing in my skin changed at all. Just glorified baby oil with a somewhat hefty price tag especially since it didn't do anything.

I've had the smallest bottle available for over a year and I can't seem to finish it, and to think I'm obsessed with moisturizing daily after every shower. This just doesn't seem to do anything more than any simple drugstore oil or lotion would. Nothing special or different about it whatsoever so I rarely reach for it. Also, it is quite expensive and the plastic bottle looks and feels incredibly cheap.

I used Bio-Oil on some stretch marks and it was not every effective. While my skin was soft and hydrated it did not reduce the depth of my stretch marks. If you are serious about improving scars or stretch marks consider a prescription retin a product and a derma roller.
