I love this. Love it. It's just perfect for it's variety. A gorgeous, classy floral but not flowery summery scent with style. It has an Ormonde Jayne-y feel and I mean that in the best possible...

I can't decide between boring or plain boring. This is floral water scent they put in cheap hair gels that sell by the barrel-full. Meh.

In Perfumes: The Guide, Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez rarely give Jean-Claude Ellena's scents more than 4 stars, and, based on Osmanthus, I heartily agree with them. Ellena founded The Different...

Osmanthus is not a "rare" flower as described by the ads, they just want to hype people up to believe its something precious. This flower is abundant in China. I have 2 osmanthus plants, both waist...

I don't get the bad rating (17% only to date?). I mean these are quality perfumes.... It's a big floral, and smells very exotic. I learn that this fragrance was inspired to JC Ellena by a trip...

It smells like TDC Bergamote, a pretty uninspiring scent, with Osmanthus added. So boring and so fleeting. It's just a tad more exciting than spraying air.

It took me a while to get into this one -- it didn't immediately resonate with me. But now I really like it. Osmanthus is one of my favorite notes, and it's usually made to smell very fruity-floral...

Jean Claude Elléna’s Osmanthus for The Different Company sets the slightly-soapy apricot-peachiness of osmanthus flower in the center, and gilds it with a touch of citrus and a hint of pepper. The...

What a tease. This is so lovely, in a heart-breakingly celestial and pure way. Like many of Ellena's creations, this is sheer; very sheer. The top note is Ellena's signature bergamot, crisp, dry...

I was in Paris when I first smelled this fragrance. I hadn't smelt osmanthus before the Different Company's; well, not to my knowledge anyway, and smelling TDC's for the first time was a bit of a...

I'm so disappointed with this fragrance. The Osmanthus blossom is one of my favourite smells of all, and though TDC has managed to capture an element of it's scent, it has also turned it into a...

Created by Jean Claude Ellena TDC's Osmanthus is a gorgoeus scent. But as soon as it hits the skin --- it starts to fade. Within 20 minutes or so -- it's completely gone. It's true to the scent...

I received this as a complimentary sample with a purchase from Luckyscent. This is a very delicate and pretty white floral, not overpowering as so many florals can be. Never having smelled a true...

From a non-floral wearer... this is light and pretty. Kinda makes you want to wear a sundress and a big floppy hat. I would wear this to a croquet tournament. Lovely.

TDC Osmanthus must be one of the least enduring perfumes I have ever tried. It opened with the dreaded B.O. note but this was gone in an instant and was replaced by citrus and green tea notes -...

I don't know what real osmanthus smells like, but TDC's Osmanthus is clearly in the same fragrance family with Rose Poivree. There is no doubt these two are siblings. I like that there is a...

Apparently in the perfume world "osmanthus" is a secret code word for "unspecified floral scent that can be taken in any direction the perfumer pleases." Took me some time to understand this and...
