    A beautiful soft amber for people who may be a bit hesitant to dive right into the amber depp end. Amber with a touch of vanilla and it is slightly sweet, slightly powdery and very nice.

    To me Ambre is the scent of sexual attraction, the thrill of the chase, the unbridled lustful exchange & the bittersweet afterglow. <p>I'd actually give it 3.5 lippies.

    When I first tried this, I asked myself if this was Shalimar. Too similar but this one is sharper, brighter. This one is good for a change but Shalimar is definitely more complex than this one.

    L'Eau d'Ambre is a sort of "Shalimar Light", the similarity is striking! I like this one a lot, but prefer Ambre Extrême to it.

    I guess I'm in the minority, but I really like this fragrance. It has a true but soft amber scent and is something I'll continue to wear all winter. I also like to layer this with vanilla-ish lotions.
