I was keen to try this out and when I first applied it, it ticked all the boxes - hydrating, correct colour for me (yay!) with some SPF protection. I didn't expect it to be full coverage or anything like that, just a tinted moisturiser, really. Well, in the moisturising department it worked well and felt light while still feeling hydrating. But over a very short time it became very greasy and patchy and disappeared off my face by the time the day was over (probably sooner - around the 4 hour mark actually). It looked a mess, like I had been working out all day, even though I was just out for a leisurely lunch and stroll with friends. I might test it out again with some setting powder applied but that just seems like more effort than I should have needed (it's a tinted moisturiser!). I don't really recommend this in a warm climate or if you'll be in the sun for a while. It might work in cooler conditions on more normal/dry skin.

i am not picky with bb creams at all, i understand that they are suppose to give you light coverage but this SUCKS. i honestly feel like i am putting on lotion. IT DOES NOTHING. when i put it on it is very wet and feels gross on my skin.

I know the reviews are mixed on this one, but I really like it. I wore foundation in middle school (always Covergirl btw) but have been only using concealer for the past 7-8 years. I wanted to try some bb creams because they're more lightweight than foundations. This one has VERY sheer coverage, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if that's what you're going for. It doesn't feel cakey at all, but still evens out my skintone. Right now this and the NYC bb cream are my favorites and I'm sure I'll go back and forth between the two, but honestly, I think I'll settle for this one. Also, you get more product for your money than with some bb creams out there. I've been using Covergirl powder/foundation/concealer since I started wearing makeup with the exception of changing my concealer very recently, and I've found another good product! Since I've been going back and forth between a few bb creams I can't say exactly how it worked for my skin, but I haven't noticed anything really weird happening yet. (Also I don't remember how much I paid since it was a week or so ago, but it wasn't overpriced.) Get this if you're experimenting with more lightweight products!

I made this purchase just on a whim. I tried the loreal BB cream and it was great so I thought this would be too. I am not in love and wouldn't repurchase I need a little more coverage especially for my under eye darkness!!! The price isn't bad though so if you don't need any coverage and need a natural look this is ideal. I have an oily t zone and its been about 4 hours into wearing this and my shine hasn't came through so that's a good sign. This would be ideal for summertime when you are already tan and don't need much on your face.

Personally I find the use of a BB cream a waste of money. It's nothing more than a tinted moisturizer and one can achieve the same effect mixing a bit of foundation with your moisturizer. That being said, this product is nothing special.

I was trying to go for a more sheer look (jaja this is quite sheer I must say!), but I bought this & CG Smoothers pressed powder to go with it. This basically is colorless, I knew that going in it would be sheer but I was hoping it would control oil/shine & add a little polish rather than wearing Clinique Total TurnAround Day (in Glow), but I will stick w Clinique TT even though ur getting a big old tube of this CG for ~$7. It's okay, I will use it up but I'm undecided if I want to buy it again. The SPF is nice but I remember their tinted moisturizer being better than this reformulation. Meh.. I liked Garnier BB best & then Olay. I have to use blot papers w this which suxxx tbh I think the powder is the culprit coz it contains mineral oil. I'm liking this better w/o the powder if u use the matching powder beware it says noncomedogenic yet contains mineral oil! I had already ripped into the packaging when I noticed ;( so that's why this works better w an oil free powder if u need a powder on the t-zone.

Meh; it's really a tinted moisturizer (translated, means no coverage at all)
and the SPF is far too low to use as a daily sunscreen.

So.. layer it over another sunscreen? Useless.
Moisturizer? not much there either.

I purchased the fair to light tone.. and it's not too yellow, as is the problem
with many light toned BB creams.. But there's not much point to it.

I have been looking for a tinted moisturizer, bb cream, or sheer foundation to add to my makeup routine and bought CG Smoothers BB cream in fair/light based on a decent score on Beautypedia and after reading reviews here. I don't think it is my HG product, and I have a few more to try, but has been pretty reliable so far.

CG Smoothers BB is inexpensive at $9 CAD for 40ml. It comes in a short, fat tube with a small nozzle that makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product.

I wear this product over my skincare regimen of sunscreen (shiseido urban environment) and moisturizer by squeezing a little on to my fingertips and spreading it over my face. It offers very light coverage, blends out well and looks natural. My concealer (rimmel match perfection) and powder (covergirl clean) look nice on top of this and don't move during the day. I did notice a little oiliness around my nose by the late afternoon but it is easily blotted away.

Overall, I like this for everyday wear when I just need a little something to hold my concealer. I would prefer a touch more coverage and will keep trying other products, but I will definitely keep wearing this until I find something better. I think it is a good value and would probably repurchase if I run out.

THIS OFFERS NO COVERAGE

I knew it would have no coverage
It is pretty much a sunscreen with some colour and acts as a bb cream
i use this to give my dry skin a nice glow
It makes my skin shine and look like very even skin tone
I like it because its a sunscreen but yeah
Wear it under foundation maybe for a smoother bsse
