I have normal-sensitive skin which often dries out so I am not fond of any makeup-foundation in general. This product is great for sensitive-dry skin but I am pretty sure it would also be good for oily skin since I sort of feel it controls oil. Even though I am not sure if it mattifies per se it also does not produce any oils whatsoever. I love this product because it gives me this nice glow when my face looks tired due to the lack of sleep but at the same time it does not cover up my entire face and it lets my freckles show. But if you have pimples and you want to cover them up completely this is not the product for you. The coverage is very light which is why i love this product. I used to never wear any makeup because 1. personally I do not like aesthetically makeup covered faces, 2. even so-called light foundations usually feel so heavy on me and too covering, but that is only my personal taste. All in all, this is a very good product that does not cause any skin problems but respects it and if you want a really good product that will give you a very VERY light coverage with an air brushed feeling. But if you want more coverage this is not the product for you.The only negative thing is the price. For me it is worth it, but if you are not willing to give this much money then I think you can search and find some good alternatives. But remember a little goes a long way! Also the smell is nice but barely noticeable which ia a plus for me.

This is an amazing applicator that has changed the entire experience of applying masks! Here is the description:"This custom silicone brush features a wooden handle that allows you to easily pick up and apply any type of mask, swiping on an even, precise layer. Lightweight yet durable, the expert, silicone tip easily bends to swipe on the product."Instead of applying with your hands, it's less messy, more precise and helps maximize products (think about all the product you wash down the sink when you wash your hands!) I first tried it with the Bosica Pore Pudding mask- if your not familiar it's a black and white swirl which turns grey when blended in. This applicator helped blend it like a dream plus it just feels luxurious. The surface area of the applicator is about the width of a quarter. Also, it's one solid silicone piece not small silicone brushes. It bends nicely to contour to your face and I was even able to maneuver into the corners of my nose. The wooden handle feels sturdy and expensive. I keep it in the plastic sleeve and box it came in but you could also store it upside down in a makeup jar. The wood bottom in flat but not wide enough to stand on its own.I bought at Sephora for $19 and would have paid much more!

I love this stuff. I got it as a deluxe sample from Sephora and then ordered a full bottle. I am 48 (nearly 49) with very fair and very dry skin, and this is soothing and slightly moisturizing lotion. It's nice alone, it's nice before I put on sunscreen and makeup, and it's nice at night before I put on other products and moisturizers.

I prefer self-foaming cleansers to other kinds and this was the one I first tried. I bought it at Sephora and loved it. I like cleansers to be gentle and not too drying. In MUA I see a lot of people complaining that their cleansers don't remove their makeup. They are not meant to! I use makeup remover or simply a little almond oil on a cotton pad before washing my face. So much better than furiously trying to wash your mascara away. I applied the BB cleanser as instructed, on DRY skin and let it stay for 30 seconds. It feels so refreshing! The only downside is the price. It's too expensive for the volume you get. That is the only reason I won't be purchasing it again (except if I feel like pampering myself). I have tried other foaming cleansers since (Nivea, Vichy, Caudalie..) and no other comes close. The secon best I've tried, so far, is the Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser. UPDATE: Though very pleasant, I no longer use foaming cleansers and my skin appreciates it. The cold winters, heating and tretinoin treatments demanded a more soothing cleanser. I have now switched to balm cleansers + warm washcloth.
