i have really sensitive skin and this made my blemishes way worse, and made other areas where i applied to cover redness itch and burn.

but even if you dont have sensitive skin, i really wouldnt recommend mac skin products as they are notorious for breaking people out. mac foundations and concealers are terrible for you skin whether they break you out or not. there are some really harsh ingredients and chemicals in there.

but if you really dont care about this, then yes this concealer is good for covering blemishes. long lasting and very good coverage. not good for undereyes as the formula is on the drier side. you may find it to be just too try in general, just right, or maybe even a bit greasy depending on the climate you live in. i find the consistency of the formula changes depending on the humidity and time of year, which is actually a bit annoying.

packaging could be better. i dont really like concealers in an open pot like that..

Ugh, because its so dry it makes blemishes stand out more, it also breaks me out! If I put this on, within two hours i will have a brand new blemish! I was desperate to use it up so i started putting it on my eyelids to cover up my dark blue veins and also as a under-eye concealer, but it's far too cakey and dry so it aged me by 10 years! I think you could find something muuuch better at the drugstore.

This concealer has great coverage and lasting power. The creamy texture helps for covering bumps and it blends into skin well. I find that this product is best applied with your fingers, patted on. It's a little pricey, but it lasts a while so it's not bad at all.

Only problem is it tends to break me out, especially clogging pores around my nose.

Pros
- cheap (relative to other ones I've tried)
- Buildable coverage to cover undereye circles

Cons
- Packaging - gets dirty really easily, since you're always swiping your fingers against it.
- Creases
- Didnt find that it lasted very long
- Very cakey looking more often than not
- Too drying for undereye circles

Would not repurchase

Wouldn't recommend for under eyes.. This concealer settles into creases unless you apply very very very lightly. Otherwise, pretty good product.

I am a professional makeup artist and I LOVE this concealer. I will say that it goes on a lot smoother and doesn't cake when applied over moisturizer/ eye cream. However, if applied over dry skin, can appear "cakey". It will cover ANYTHING from under eye circles to acne marks. It is similar to Dermablend, in a smaller and more affordable package. Hope this helps ladies! Muah! Xo

This product is decent at conceling unwanted blemishes. Overall it is a good product...but not for under the eye. This does not fully conceal under eye darkness and creases within a hour. This product would be out of this world if it didn't crease...but, it completly ruins the product. Overall if your going for a blemish concealer, this is what you want; for an under eye concealer, use your money else where.

Found it to be a bit drying on my skin. Covers really well though and stays place even without powder. This would work really well on normal to oily skin.

I have been using this product since high school and I am now 26. It's a good staple product that I normally go back to. It covers well and stays put. It provides extreme full coverage. I love that its a cream foundation that is easy to use. I love it. Well done MAC!

This is a great concealer for blemishes or blotchiness on your skin. Several caveats: it is better for blemishes and red spots than for undereye circles. It's extremely thick and opaque (think pan cake makeup for the theater) so it's best for heavy duty coverage. Also, it's best used with a brush for raised blemishes or with a finger or sponge for red spots or discoloration. The thickness of this concealer will accentuate any and every line, wrinkle or crepeiness on your face so stick with a thinner, liquid/cream concealer for undereye circles. Another caveat is find the right match for your color. I've tried to stick to a color match with the foundation I'm wearing so that it blends seamlessly. Otherwise, it seems to accentuate the discoloration of the blemish. The last caveat is to use a brush to apply it to raised blemishes so you can cover all the "nooks and crannies" to completely cover it and "diffuse" the raise spot. Hope this helps.
