I will be doing a 6 month review here so as of today this is my review. I feel because you do go through a purge and have to get used to it that it’s better to have a play by play than anything.

Background- I have hormonal acne. I had clear skin until I was 20 and went off the pill. My face blew up. I went back on the pill and my face went back to Ok but never back to normal. I’m 27 now …

A resounding no from me.

When you first open this item the first thing that came to mind: Magnesium Citrate. The stuff you take to flush your insides before surgery or a colonoscopy. That’s all I could smell. I even said it to my BF. That should have been my first warning sign, but no, I desperately wanted a micellular water.

I used this as my quick cleanse just home form …

Skin for Context: Light with Neutral undertones leaning warmer. Currently purging due to Curology. Normal to dry. Sensitive. Mildly textured.

I wanted to love this foundation. I tried to love this foundation, but, today I returned it to Sephora. Now, why did I want to love it?

Squalene- I use this everyday. My skin drinks it up. I figured since the foundation had squalene that …

I was hesitant to buy this at first given all the rather negative reviews- mainly due to wear time and excessive oil issues. As someone with dry skin, however, I shouldn’t have been alarmed. I would say that this is not for oily skin but you should be able to get away with it on normal skin, normal leaning dry, and dry skin.

Shade OO is perfect for my pale, neutral skin. In fact I think …

I don’t know why it took me so long to get on board with this stuff but now that I am-Full speed ahead! I’m already thinking of adding it to a bi-monthly shopping list on amazon.

3 weeks ago I was going through a period of bad eating, not enough sleep, bad skin behavior, etc etc. My chin and jawline suffered horribly for it which killed me. So of course it was immediately onto harsh …

My HG foundation.

Background: Dry to normal skin. Neutral undertone. Mild acne on chin. Looking for natural finish with good coverage.

Other foundations owned: Chanel Aqua, Perfection, Armani Maestro, Kosas Skin tint.

This foundation has managed to knock all others out of the park. Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere used to me my #1, and then I found this. The coverage is …

So I said I would buy again but it really is a hard maybe. Yes, I could DIY this exfoliator but do I really want to play chemist when a bottle of this stuff has managed to last me months of weekly use and I still havent put a dent in it? Also, please note that clove needs to be ground extremely fine to be safe to use in skincare otherwise you may as well be using St Ives Apricot scrub. I …Read more

My favorite mixture of this is with squalene oil because it's a more skin friendly oil and I know I don't break out from it. I just put the mixture in a jar from whole foods and scoop a little out each time.

I love a good physical scrub for my face once in a while. I was looking at the Fresh Sugar scrub at sephora and thought to myself- Are you in insane? 62$ for brown sugar …

TL:DR If you have ever wondered how other people use concealer and their flaws disappear and they look incredibly natural- this is that concealer for me. Perfect consistency- Waxy, Stiff and dry. Good packaging. Decently inexpensive. Blendable without disappearing.

I recently tried a list of concealers: Clea De Peau which was too dry, Kevyn Aucoin which blended away to nothing …

Already planning on repurchasing as my first bottle goes bad at the end of next month.

When I first bought this I used it everyday- 4 drops at night- and after 2 days I was getting compliments on my skin like no other. I was shocked because people were coming up to me at work and telling me I was glowing/my skin was looking so smooth/etc.

Even with the compliments I got lazy …
