Radiant Corrector For Eyes

I love this concealer! I was a fan of the original CdP concealer stick and had repurchased that several times as it was my only concealer used. When I found out about the Radiant Corrector, I tried it in a department store with the assistance of a CdP sales associate. I was concerned that the different formula might mean that I needed a different shade in the Radiant Corrector, but the SA said I'm Beige in this one, too. The Radiant Corrector spreads much more easily than the stick, and I like the brush at the end to help me with dotting it lightly under my eyes, then I use my finger to smooth it and tap it into place. I set it for the day with translucent loose powder, also tapped on with my finger. I use 2 clicks to cover my under eye area, sides of nose, and any spots on my face. Since I'm still using my first one, I don't know yet how long it will last using just 2 clicks 5-6x per week; so far it's been over 3 months. I will definitely repurchase this item. While it's pricey, it works well for me, is a great match to my skin tone, and it has good staying power. My only complaint with the packaging is that there is no way to see how much product is left, so I am guessing that I will get approx 4 months out of it. I will probably update that part when I know for sure how long it lasts, in case anyone is interested.

The Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 21 Sunscreen

I never thought I would ever spend this much on foundation, yet here we are. My skin is acclimatizing to Tretinoin pretty well, but there are flakes on my forehead and around my mouth that none of my HG foundations (Suqqu cream old version, Koh Gen Do Aqua or Moisture or MISSHA BB) can`t not emphasize. I went back to try the latest cream foundations out there at the luxury counters, but none of them made me look as natural, hydrated and flawless as this. Because shelling out 30,000 JPY is already a major sin, I didn`t want to also spend big bucks on primers to go with this. So I brought the only primer I rely on in winter with me to the counter, my Sekkisei White UV Gel. It works beautifully with that, too, the trick being to use your fingers and apply sparingly. It has medium to high coverage that looks like skin. Even though in winter my skin is hardly ever in top condition, I found I didn`t need concealer, except for mt dark circles. It wore beautifully for 9 hours with a light dusting of Make Up Forever HD loose powder. There is no scent to this and the SPF is irrelevant in a foundation really. It is the most emollient, light texture foundation with luminosity, cover, and longevity I have ever tried. I would only recommend this for mature and dry skin types and for the cold season. Totally would repurchase.

I will tell you how many times I bought this in my life: four times. Once was for a gift but the other three were for me. It is quite indulgent and wrong as I just have one face. I got Almond, Honey and Ochre. In fact I think I got the Almond two times as I ran out of it. I thought they were good, until I tried Kryolsn Dermacolor. With a moisturiser under, the Cle de Peau side looked wrinkly (the dried wrinkly look that concealer can give) but the Kryolan side looked fine. If used anywhere besides my under eye area the CDP causes pimples for me. So even if I blend the CDP down from undereye darkness to just a tad on the cheek I am guaranteed clogged pores or a pimple that week on that area. Kryolan has not caused skin issues for me. The CDP needed to be touched up 1or 2 times a day for me (despite powder). The Kryolan I do not touch up usually and remove at night. I have tried to use a MAQpro corrector under both of them but the CDP doesnt work well with it. It stands better alone. The CDP doesn't have as good a shade range as Kryolan. One thing in favour of CDP over Kryolan is that it is way more user-friendly. A beginner at makeup can use it without issues. The Kryolan needs to be worked with and you have to figure out which type of applicator you prefer and whether you want it diluted or full on. However this is not a problem for a big makeup geek like me. CDP looks nice but Kryolan in my opinion looks much nicer. Therefore what I once thought was a 4 star product I must now say is a 3 star product, factoring in the price.
