Olaplex Bond Pefector No. 2

Excellent for very damaged hair. Once a week I wash my hair, apply this and sleep in it. The next morning I just rinse and style. I have fine, frizzy hair and Olaplex 2 keeps it looking its best. It's stronger than number 3 and I love it. You may want to wash it out if your hair isn't as dry and frizzy as mine.

I was already a fan of the Olaplex 3 and 6 and liked their shampoo and conditioner, but I had a disastrous salon experience when I went in for a few face framing highlights, and the stylist turned my hair orange. When I went back to the salon to fix it, she left the bleach on too long. I had noticeable breakage- I saw clumps of my hair in her brush and pieces of my hair flying off when she was drying my hair. My hair was weak, dull, tangly, took forever to dry, and was breaking off still. I booked a salon appointment (at a different salon) for the 1 & 2 Treatment, hoping that as a last resort (I had already done the Aphogee protein treatment) I could get some semblance of my hair back to being okay. The treatment itself took about 45 minutes total. It was fairly inexpensive and really helped my hair texture. It didn't feel like virgin hair, but it was a LOT better than what it was. My hair was soft and manageable, felt stronger, and had shine. While my hair is still damaged, this stuff really helped and I will be getting this done every 8 weeks or so going forward. I would recommend this to anyone who has anxiety about their hair being damaged due to bleach.

My hair is long, thick, and color treated including balayage. What I look for in a conditioner is something that will hydrate my hair, keep it smooth/silky with no tangles, maybe reduce frizz, and hopefully accomplish that all without weighing my hair down or making it get greasy quickly. Somehow, this conditioner pretty much does all that. I wouldn't say that I'm totally WOWed by it, especially for the price, but all I know is I'm pretty picky and I've been using this for months. As far as the price goes, I've used a 100ml bottle since October and still have a good bit left, so it is a pretty good value for something in this price range. The smell is a little different from the rest of the Olaplex stuff, but it is still generally citrus based and fresh which I like. All in all, I'd probably buy it again because as much as I like this, I love the shampoo even more and don't like to mix and match.
