Treatments (Face) -John Masters Organics -vitamin C anti-aging face serum

on 10/31/2018 6:40:00 PM

I’ve been looking for a vitamin c serum that’s available in Europe (I used a korean brand serum back when I lived in Asia) and I think this will be my go-to night serum. I’ve been using this for over two weeks and I’ve already noticed that my skin tone is less dull and more even. I use one pump of this serum only at night over my Clinique toner and under pure argan oil. That’s it! When it gets drier in winter i’ll just apply some Avene cold cream on the top. I think there’s just a very fresh citrusy fragrance that fades really quickly, not too sure why the other reviewers had issues with the smell. My sensitive skin didn’t act up with this (compared to Kiehl’s old vitamin C serum).

Hair Treatments -John Masters Organics -Deep Scalp Follicle Treatment & Volumizer for Thinning Hair

Recently ran out of my beloved Briogeo Scalp Revival and decided to try this whilst waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Love the organic and natural ingredients. Feels good on my scalp and tingles initially when you apply, which was expected with all the stimulating oils in it. Has helped slightly with hair volume although not massively, I still need to use a volume-specific conditioner for that. Hair thinning also decreases a little when using this, again testament to its great formulation, although I have used products that are better for this aspect, but still any help is good when it comes to hair loss. Best of all it's helped clear the psoriasis plaques that at times only Briogeo or the DH Hair Oil could keep at bay. Despite leaving in it doesn't stay sticky or cause my hair to become frizzy which is something a lot of products tend to do. Will definitely switch back to this if I am out of my usual products again.

Conditioner -John Masters Organics -Organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler

This stuff detangles like a breeze and doesn't weigh my hair down. I'm a hair lover and this detangler (I use it as a rinse out conditioner) ranks in my top 5. It's expensive but you only need a tiny amount and it delivers results.

I absolutely love the smell of this product, and love that it's natural. I really like John Masters a lot, too.

Shampoo -John Masters Organics -Lavender Rosemary Shampoo

on 6/25/2017 7:45:00 AM

I have over-shoulder length medium thick and qute dry hair. I really wanted to like this shampoo and I have to say I fell for it after I had a sample size and my hair looked really good after using it twice. So I bought the original size which is quite on the pricey side. And then the letdown. After 5-6 times using it, my hair got ever dryer and more frizzy. I couldn't have done without a conditioner and serum after washing. My scalp also got quite dry and I also noticed that my hair got greasy within 12 hours - which is not normal for me as I normally wash my hair every 2-3 days and I don't have greasy hair.

So, I guess when I tried the sample size, my hair was still nourished from my shampoo I used before so the trial use of John Masters gave me a wrong impression. When I started using it regularly the pre-nourishing effect wore off and I saw the the JM product just really dried out my hair and scalp, made my hair greasy and tangly.
A pro is the really lovely scent of the shampoo but that doesn't help anything as with the many severe cons this shampoo has plus the high price tag.
