Styling Products -Davines -OI / All in One Milk

Performance wise this stuff is awesome if used on dry hair. It does all it was promised to do softens, detangles, controls frizz, and it has long-term benefits of conditioning my always dry porous hair.
If I apply it on wet hair (the same 4-5 spritz) and let it air dry my hair is too greasy for my liking.
The smell of this thing is what made me toss it away. It has the unbearably strong scent of essential oils mixed together, and the scent lingers till the next wash (two days for my hair).
Davines is the second brand whos scent I can't tolerate, the first one was Aveda. I know how many people love Aveda scent, so I thought it worth mention.
If you don't like essential oils you won't be able to tolerate this product.

Conditioner -Davines -Alchemic Conditioner

Terrible product. It left my hair dry and clown orange-red. Not chocolate at all. Now I have dry hair that looks like I hennaed it. I applied this ONLY ONCE and my hair is now seemingly permanently orange-red. I have washed it multiple times with Dawn dishwashing liquid, alone and mixed with baking soda, rinsing with vinegar, hot-oil treatments, you name it. I now have to pay a professional to GET THIS OUT OF MY HAIR, which I'm sure will further damage it.

Side note: this will also stain your tub/shower, hands, clothing, and anything else it comes in contact with. Again, good luck getting those stains out.

Hair Treatments -Davines -Dede hair mist

I got this Dede Hair Mist from my hair stylist, more as a product to try rather than because it's supposed to work miracles. I never use conditioner for my hair, so this "spray on conditioner" which can be applied to damp hair and left in to dry is a really convenient format.

I can't say I've noticed any dramatic results, but I have straight hair and don't have problems with maintaining a healthy shine without conditioner anyway.

3 months in, I don't mind using it as it smells quite soothing, but the spray nozzle is absolutely rubbish and constantly jams (which seems to be a consistent complaint in product reviews that I've read elsewhere).

I don't feel the need to replace this product once it runs out, but will instead focus my search for scalp treatments rather than hair treatments.

Conditioner -Davines -Oi Conditioner

PSA: Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner is this product's dupe. Oi itself is a 5 star moisturizer. Better moisturizer if you have dry or curly hair than kerastase masquintense and many others I've tried. In formula and feel though I can't help but notice the product is completely identical to Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner which you can get a full Liter/ 33.8 oz of during Ulta's liter sale for $14. The only viable difference is the smell. Oi has sort of an earthy higher end scent but I've been using the Kenra for years and was shocked to find its soul mate and dupe in another higher end product. Check the Kenra if you like this. I'm sure I don't need to do a cost analysis to show how much you'd be saving, while still getting the same moisture, detangling and results

Hair Treatments -Davines -Oi Oil - Absolute Beautifying Potion

Wow, I think I have found my one and only. I have damaged hair which is already weakened by the chemical stuff I've applied to my hair over the years and I hate breaking my hair just by brushing it (even if I'm trying to be gentle and using a tangle brush). Well, this stuff is now my best friend while detangling. It just makes my knots slip out plus it really makes my hair softer. I used to think that serums do nothing to my hair but luckily I decided to try out different ones to find the right product and that's where I stop! It is more of a serum than an oil because of the silicones in the ingredients but it just does everything.
